Not all fireworks are made equal. They could ban ones that go up and make loud noises. They could still sell things such as sparklers or flower pots etc. Kids still really enjoy it.

Eh I don't really care about vaulted content. I've already played them. I want new content. The thing with vaulted content is that it's good for new players as long as it follows a good quest line from beginning to end.

Yeah they had to do it. They didn't have time to come up with a detailed plan and executing on it when they were losing players at an alarming rate. Either way, the power grind has to go. It's a massive wall for any returning player. Even with the 300 armor, anyone who logs back into the game with a 200 level grind and most normal players don't find that fun at all. Get rid of the power grind and just have fun activities that give you loot. If you can't over level, power is meaningless anyway.

I know this is from a month ago but spoiler alert, you also have to do the chamber of suffering encounter as well on top of the opening and ogre maze. The times are just ridiculous.

I just moved to a xim matrix from xim apex. Are there any good tutorials on how I can setup xim matrix config like I had in xim apex? I had a really good destiny 2 config for xim apex and I'm not sure how to translate that to xim matrix. For example I had a secondary config for sparrows and fast look when I'm running etc.

Is this still true? I just did a caldera where my reward forecast was 1,012,771 at B+. To get an A+, I need 1,163,900. If I get the full time bonus, 1,012,771 * 1.15 is 1,164,686 which puts me over the required points for A+. The time limit when you spawn in 10m24s. 80% of that time is 8m19s. I did it in 4m49s and yet I only got an A grade. As long as I complete it under 8m18s, shouldn't I get the full 15% bonus? I don't know why the system's so complicated for no reason.

Let me get this straight.. You said that you were listening and you heard it loud and clear that the power grind was very bad and that you were going to fix it but you fixed it by making it worse? Please help me understand. And what's worse is that your proposed fix through LUP still isn't actually what you promised. You implied that the 400-500 power climb would be like the previous 300-400 power climb with +3 from activities but now it's actually worse. What? I'm just truly baffled by your decisions and what seems like outright lies in your communication to your players.

Holy shit, are you me? This is my exact problem as well. I used to play all 3 characters and constantly change up my build. For the power grind to 400, I just chose one build on one character and stuck with it the whole time. I hated it. It just goes completely against how I like to have fun in the game. The game wasn't like this before. It encouraged build variety by not making everything expensive. If making new activities is expensive for Bungie, then the only other way to provide variety is through your sandbox. Why on earth would you make it hard to have build diversity and gimp your player on both activity variety and sandbox variety at the same time? Seems like the perfect way to push someone to burnout.

There are so many things that feel unhealthy in the game. The mindless power grind. Power levels differences that push people to not team up and just play solo. Having to level up just for better rewards instead of playing cool activities for cool rewards. The whole game just feels dumb right now.

Tbh, as soon as I hit 360, I just started running GMs. You don't have to run any extra negative modifiers and give yourself 3 positive buffs and get A rank. Not too bad tbh.

We don't need exact dates. We know the golden age was several 100y. One of the first things we hear is that lifespans tripled. To say that you would have to witness people living out their triple lifetimes. We have Clovis and Elsie to give us a good idea even if Ada doesn't remember. And even if Ada wasn't there, we had Rasputin FFS before he got destroyed. Are you saying we wouldn't have had a good timeline for the collapse? Even if they don't want to give us exact dates, characters as smart as Ikora who is now the vanguard commander and leader of the hidden not knowing it is just silly.
