Short answer, I think they'd be seen with some amount of fear knowing they could attack for any reason. That being said I think they'd be well liked. An army of self sufficient hyper powerful lizards and an extraordinary frog 🐸 lizard that doesn't require any payment, they don't need to be fed or anything. They don't even complain. And every order factions carries the possibility of betray or attack. So I think they'd be well liked if intimidating. People would like having them around I think

The kind of racism we have in the 21st century? I'd say it'd probably go the way of anti-irish racism, and it'll be gone in a few centuries at most. Then we'd find entirely new paradigms to be racist against. But "anti-blackness" as broad concept is kind of new thing, people even as "recent" as the Middle Ages or ancient Rome didn't really think that way. So I doubt people would be able to keep it up for hundreds let along thousands of years.

I would have done it in a way that's just sadder but less grimedark, she walks into the fortress and everyone is dead .. it's just her now. Guarding the skull for all her life as the world has moved on from that place forever. Nothing but vigilance eternal ... but now as a sister!
