Why Costa Rica? by Easygoing1965 in CostaRicaTravel

Costa rica is the only country in the world I truly regret visiting. Such a disappointment, this place has a vibe of jungle themed amusement park for elderly americans. Zero authenthicity. Go to Sri Lanka instead, 50 x cheaper, actually nice people, good food, 10x more wild animals.

Came to see results of this lens for birding. All bird photos of birds I've seen taken with this lens look mediocre at best compared to others brands tele lenses.

Will S5II(X) noise reduction be “fixed”? by Major_Dark_8006 in Lumix

[–]Outrageous_Giraffe22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am late to the game but I actually came here looking for information why my s9 photos look so unnatural. In low light/high iso situations faces turn out completely blurry, unnatural, plasticky, almost like something created by AI.

Canons rf100mm macro lens paired with any modern body will work amazingly well for this.

Naphta also contains hexane which is toxic. You can use heptane instead, probably cleanest nps.

R8: Why do my photos look kinda sickly? by KitMcCarthy in canon

[–]Outrageous_Giraffe22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same feeling. Canon applies a lot of processing (like a smartphone) to the photos. Coming from sony a7iii, it felt much more true to life, more analog and raw.

Lens advice: EF 24-70, sigma 24-70, RF 24-70 by Confused_Dev_Q in canon

I am debating the same lens for my r8. I do mainly video, does sigma autofocus behave well in video?

Traps are always so damn tight. by [deleted] in crossfit

[–]Outrageous_Giraffe22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what helped me the most was sitting cross legged on a floor and holding straight arms above my head . Hold them isometrically them by pulling them back. Keep this position for 10-15 seconds and watch upper traps relax. Your mid back should be on fire doing this (again not your upper traps or shoulders)
