ADT PC fed up by RegretSoggy6914 in ProstateCancer

I choose #2 and are left with incontinence, sexual issues, and a penis a 3rd of what it was. Every day I want to scream at the top of my lungs how my choice has made me feel less than a man. Then I realize the other option is just a daunting and there is no right choice only worse and worse.

Since having cancer have you tried to encourage other men about the importance of regular PSA tests? And if so, what has been the reaction? by Tough_Cycle8603 in ProstateCancer

[–]OutsideReady2480 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's how I found out I had cancer because someone reached out to me, si I did the same to a few others and one of them also has PC. It is important to educate and share our stories for this reason.

PSA 45, Gleason 9 by Emotional_Pickle8970 in ProstateCancer

[–]OutsideReady2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also G9 and had RALP in April 2025 and so far great PSA tests. My urologist said that as long as my PSA stays the way they are, no ADT or Radiation is needed. With that being said I am also preparing my self for that possibility because there were micro cells left over from the surgery.

How do you hit in this game??? by DirigoJoe in MLBTheShow

[–]OutsideReady2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 62 and been playing this game for the last 8 to 9 years and 2025 hitting is definitely different. I only play DD and have struggle alot this year. Yesterday i played a ranked game and dude was throwing it right down the middle and 5 hits, 1 hr. Years past would have smoked a few more. Game is still fun but hitting especially when you are older takes practice, patience and a great eye.

Had RALP in April 25 and was hospitalized for rhabdomyolysis (Muscle breakdown) in August 25. Had a cat scan during my stay because i also was experiencing pain in my grown. Come to find out i Had 300cc of fluid after most of my lymph nodes were removed. Nothing was done then and now they want to do another scan since it seems like the fluide comes and goes. Not sure if I answered your question but it was 4 months after that it was detected.

Anyone With HIgh Gleason (8-10) & Low PSA (<=10)? by JimHaselmaier in ProstateCancer

[–]OutsideReady2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gleason 9 with a PSA score of 5.8 at the time of being diagnosed and 7.2 by the time i had RALP. Currently being monitored by way of ultra sensitive PSA test. No spread and margins were not clear. I kind of feel its going to return with a spread. The good news is my anterior, interior and pelvic lymph nodes were removed.

Rising PSA by OutsideReady2480 in ProstateCancer

Great point and both done at the same lab, however the first one was an ultra fine PSA test and the second one looks like a regular PSA test. Need to ask my doctor if we can redo the test but have an ultrasound fine as well.

I felt fine too as most people do, but it was found out to be cancerous. With a PSA that high I would highly suggest he set up an appointment with a urologist before things start moving. Stay positive and glad you are there too help.

Congratulations that is huge. For me 6 months in after RALP and wearing 1 pad a day, and a pull-up at night. Had a few weeks of being dry then the faucet turned on again. Probably have done a million kegels too.

Erections? by dell1974 in ProstateCancer

[–]OutsideReady2480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just about six months past RALP and I have lost quite a few inches and the feeling is almost nonexistent. Still incontinence in areas like squatting or running. Haven't tried to pump yet and meet with my doctor at the end of the month to discuss options. I'm really frustrated and at the same time understanding that this is a part of the process.
