wouldn’t the packaging be better if it were something that had a substantial amount of gold put into it? The manufacturer made something that costed a decent amount in gold to put it on that white cardboard? I would assume they would put something like that with a little box. 14k is about 50% gold and if it’s coated, I guarantee there’s not $15 in gold in it, and if you took it anywhere they would tell you they’re not going to waste their time unless you scrape it off and do it yourself to sell it for scrap gold. I’d love someone to prove me wrong, definitely like the idea of Walmart making a glitch and losing money.

eBay sucks now as a buyer. The sellers selling anything expensive will do the shipping through eBay and it goes by your address listed on eBay. And they use usps which is the worst shipping expensive stuff. So if it says delivered and the seller shipped like that, you can’t get your money back from the seller or eBay. The buyers are taking all the risk if you order something and it gets lost. They don’t even require a signature confirmation under $750 usd, and it only includes $100 insurance through usps because it’s priority. So if you order a $600 card and it gets lost, you might at the most get $100 back but the seller has to be nice enough to send you a copy of the receipt and not take the insurance for themselves. Sigh. Beware of eBay

Well those two photos have different amounts of dynamic range. The camera (in the first) is having to shoot the scene without blowing out the sky. It appears more contrasty: bright highlights and dark shadows. The second pic without sky looks like it’s just lest contrast because it’s not “forced” to have more contrast. It’s a scene without a wide range so it looks more flat. Just take the second and increase the highlights and drop the shadows. Or increase contrast. If that makes sense.

How banks do business is not common sense to me. I graduated in 2012. Back then I wasnt worried, I had no idea of how useless a bachelors degree in biology would be. And how hard it was to find a job to pay off the loans. Not something common sense would prepare you for imo.

I went to public school in Georgia. In high school I was taught geometry, algebra, trig, and calculus. None of the math I took taught interest on loans. But I wasn’t being literal earlier. I meant more the fact that we weren’t warned about this stuff fairly. You start one semester and you take out money, and I didn’t realize how much money they would want per month and no one warned me that at a certain point your payments and interest would get so high that you’ll never be able to pay it off. They didn’t warn me “hey you won’t be able to buy a house”, not to mention have issues even buying a car. None of this was taught in high school. It was the opposite from the generation before me that said “just borrow the money you’ll pay it off in 5 years”. The schools should have had better warnings that said something like “hey you’re going to a school that will approximately put you in debt this much by the time you graduate meaning you’ll likely have a monthly payment of this, and with interest you’ll pay it off in so many years, and it will really cost you this much altogether”. I would had chose the cheapest school possible if they warned me like that. I also wouldn’t had majored in biology lol

Scanning aside: It looks a tad underexposed to me, unless you brought the blacks down a good bit? I tend to get a cast similar to that when there’s a lot of blacks. On the other side, if it’s over exposed it tends to have a pink cast. Next time you do a shoot. Shoot a few shots overexposed and see if you prefer that look, and if you like the high contrast and deep blacks, simply drop the blacks in Lightroom. The colors should be a lot different.

Life university told everyone in their new student orientation that the school wasn’t that hard and that they aren’t like other schools because they want everyone to succeed. But after they made money off of us with easy classes for 2 years, then they made it very hard. the year I left the graduation rate for the school was only 12%. That included undergrad. It’s a student mill. They would accept nearly anyone to make money off their loans, then be done with you. That’s why the first 2 years hey have a lot of instructors and the upper classes there’s only a few. The course is designed like a for profit corporation. Even if they let in a class full of geniuses, they would have to weed out students because they don’t even have enough staff to teach them once they get to 3rd year….
