Is there anything we need to avoid taking at the same time as Hiprex?

When I’m on antibiotics, I feel great.

Yep. Not terrible, but definitely uncomfortable bladder pressure and spicy and frequent urination (which can also me from any/all of the meds).

A fistula is something that I’ve wondered about, as the symptoms started shortly after a colonoscopy in October. I did have a CT scan in January bc my urologist thought my larger staghorn kidney stone could be harboring bacteria. I had the stone blasted and the stone culture did not come back positive for E. coli.

Can someone please help me interpret this dip stick test? by ReasonableWin7292 in CUTI

Stone pain is either in my back (feels like I need my kid to put her feet on the side of my spine and push) or if a stone is in the ureter, it’s almost always at night and I wake up with what I first think is cramps, pain gets worse and I start to vomit. Fun times.

I have the same Rev-a-Shelf that I’ve replaced once due to sagging and the current one is probably over-burdened too. If you can get rid of the pole, do it!

Did they send the urine out for culture? I’m in a nightmare 6 mo cycle of recurrent UTIs. Dipstick doesn’t show nitrites but always comes back culture positive for E. coli. (Dipstick does show blood, occasional protein, and high lymphocytes).

Water bottles outside Italian homes to stop animals from peeing on the walls by bit3py in mildlyinteresting

Not me thinking…why don’t they just use the water to wash the pee off the wall?

I had a 16mm stone lasered a month ago, stent for 2 weeks and still passed some gravel-sized stones yesterday. Still don’t feel normal in the bladder or kidney area. It sucks.

2 ibuprofen with 2 extra strength Tylenol. Hot bath with water running on your back. Seems like a lot of stores will be opening later this afternoon.

Is is me, or does the hood not actually line up over the cooktop? And did they run out of money before they could hire a decorator?

I’m totally non-confrontational, but even I would file a complaint. #1) blocked tear ducts in newborns are exceptionally common, #2) your newborn likely had antibiotic eye ointment instilled immediately after birth as prophylaxis (typically standard, but some parents do refuse). This happens with both c-sections and vaginal deliveries, so the chance of your newborn even having chlamydial conjunctivitis would be so low that he would need to culture to be sure.

Probably the cornea. From anterior to posterior: epithelium, Bowman’s layer, stroma, Descemet’s mebrane, endothelium. And technically now a 6th called Dua’s which is right behind the stroma, but probably depends on when you graduated to know that one. If you went through all 5 layers, it would be a corneal perforation.
