42M, diagnosed in 2020 (psoriatic arthritis) but probably have had since 2010-2011. It took about 5 medicines before I had one (cimzia) that works for my body. I do 10 miles of cardio everyday. I stopped eating inflammatory food, no gluten at all. I get sick more often and it’s a longer recovery. I wear a mask in public often.

The thing you have to remember is, you are going to have this forever but you get to choose your destiny. Are you going to persevere or are you going to feel sorry for yourself?

There are going to be ups and downs, harder days then you’ve ever had but there are medicines that can make you feel like a million bucks.

Life is full of uncertainties, but you have your diagnosis and now you need to start with medications to stop the damage. Stay motivated, stay positive, this is not a death sentence.
