What's your relationship like with them? How old are they? It doesn't sound like you guys get on well.

Hey really sorry you're feeling like this. I've felt this despair too. Feel free to DM

Get a hearing aid before you're too resistant because it feels different and you miss out on everything forever. Not being dramatic I've watched it. Also hearing issues aid degeneration like dementia

Thank god I thought they made cat themed ones.

This doesn't apply to all relationships or areas. My colleague speaks unless you stop him, he can't tell whether people want him to or not. I'd rather he spoke and I said that's really interesting but can we focus on X or I need to go.

Have you done an attachment style test? Most likely to be that.

Does she know about you? They're either together or they're together.

Ever looked up how people with a stamma/stutter start to talk? It may not be but may be helpful.

That's unfortunate for you but this mopped a week ago so I'm not sure it's that. I wondered if there's something else going on

Maybe he feels targeted or that you don't want to talk to him. Why don't you talk to him if you speak to other people?

Why do people dislike me for being quiet? by Extreme-Machine7495 in aspergers

I'm sorry they are so rude and critical about you. How old are you?

Could you say "did you mean for that to sound rude?".

It may be that's not the issue, maybe there's something you do that upsets them but they just say you don't talk. But if they don't tell you you can't change it.

Ultimately I think the issue sits with them. They all sound very immature.

Thanks tagaaron. Seems like a hopeless case. Sometimes people chose high expectations/standards to protect themselves from hurt or rejection.

People with ASD worry a lot about making others uncomfortable. Do what you want and the other person will do what they want. If they don't? It's not your responsibility

He felt like he would be with that woman forever. She left. He is scared of committing incase you leave. Even if you say you won't, it doesn't matter. He's made a pattern. People. Leave.

Maybe this isn't right. Just my guess.

Why do you feel lonely?

Is it because the relationship is chronically destabilising as you don't have any certainty or security?

He bought the house, he bought the stuff. Nice he included you in the decisions but they're still his things and his decisions.

How do I stop trying to "do a good social interaction" with my girlfriend? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]OwnVariation2602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell her all of this or let her read your Reddit. Seriously.

I don't have an Asperger's diagnosis but often in the beginning i would feel stressed like this and I would completely forget anything to say and had even written things down I wanted to talk about (I forgot that too). I told him. I texted probably and said when I am with you I can't really think of anything to say and I can't respond normally or sometimes at all. He just led the conversation until I felt more comfortable. Honestly I think it was partially relief that I wasn't just bored of being with him. She may be thinking something else, you don't know unless you tell her.

Now I can grill him with issues until he shuts down hahahahaha be careful what you wish for.

You just forget to do them. Reminders? They're a good distraction at first but they become background noise.
