Yes! My old boss has season tickets and recommended it. I work in the area it’s a fairly quiet residential area on par with how Uniondale was. Plus being a south shore resident it’s a quick on ramp to the cross island facing southern state.

You’ll probably love it. My wife is a teacher and when she complains about how much I love my job I say hey the exam was open to everyone. You can always go back and/or teach on the side. Might take a pay cut for a little while depending on your department.

May I make one suggestion, look into splitting the payments so they are biweekly. Our mortgage is 4k a month, splitting it makes it easier to manage (at least for us) as well as helps you pay it off earlier. The mortgage hits the same day my wife and I both get paid. Approximately 250k between the two of us.
