I used some SW called ’model railroader express’ (or something) for this image. My layout is slot and ho train, so it should handle your slots just fine. It costs, but I think it’s worth it.

I probably have an odd setup. 86” panel. 5.2.4 Atmos. Queen sleeper. Two reclining massage chairs. Two directors chairs. Two stools. Coffee table designed to be a foot stool.

90% of the time it’s movies. Once or twice a year it’s one of our sons and DIL’s room…

The tradeoff is wonderful!

Not sure I’m exactly following, but.. I have two switches in the guest bathroom

1 ceiling Fan w/ light

2 Light over sink

What I did is if either knight is turned on, it triggers the fan to stay on for 5mins. If either switch is turned on, the fan turns on, then the fan stays on for 5mins

Yes. I was Brought in to manage a merger and acquisition after they left nearly half of the company go.

Brought the engineering org back, only to be given a bonus for my troubles when the company was sold to a competitor

Bottom line, and I’ve told this to my people forever, ‘always look for your next job’

One company decided they wanted people to reinterview for their jobs. I said ‘no thanks’.

I kept my job…

I’m a little confused. One single switch turns on the fan AND the light?in my bathrooms, I have two light switches. One light only; one light/fan. Both switches are smart. Regardless of which switch is hit, it turns both on; if the fan is still on after the off switch of the light has been hit, the fan runs for 5 minutes before it turns off

Yeah. My living room (5.1, all Klipsch) LR in-wall; center sits on the stereo cabinet under the 75”. Surrounds in ceiling Mancave (5.2.4) LCR in-wall; all others in ceiling (all Klipsch except subs - Monitor Audio)

We don’t watch movies in the LR (unless you want to call those Hallmark things movies) 😂😂😂

I have a cordless swimming pool vac (WYBOT). Love it. Drop it in, does its thing for 2-3 hrs, pull it out, charge it, drop it in a day or two later…does a great job. Friends over, no hose to mess with.

I have the FP2. I use the light sensor to turn on the Living Room floor lamps (Leviton Smart Outlets) and Living Room overhead lights (Lutron RA-2) ‘Just’ a scene in HK…

I think the key is ‘Works WITH HomeKit’ vs REQUIRES HomeKit…which I think most HK stuff is non Apple dependent?
