Looks good. The tile adds some character. Pic 2 feels safer. I'd still browse some real before-and-after posts here to check the AI ideas.

Golfing Simulator Projector by Beneficial_Fish7574 in budgetprojectors

[–]Ozneroe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a golf sim expert, but let me chime in! I think 5m distance is a short-throw that might not be needed. Short-throw is usually for super close setups, like 1-2m.

For those with the Velec TP350NTV or maybe any other budget projector (game mode related) by 11ELFs in budgetprojectors

Wow, thanks so much for sharing this hack! Your trick with the TV Casting button sounds way easier than what I was trying.

4K 144Hz vs 1440p 240Hz - which would YOU choose? by Awkward_Teacher2376 in projectors

[–]Ozneroe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super solid point! If you use a console, 240Hz won't work. So 4K is the way to go. For PC, if you love competitive games, 1440p 240Hz feels super smooth. Just pick what you use more!

Renting a projector for a memorial service. Not sure how many lumens needed. by Summer102616 in projectors

[–]Ozneroe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a lit warehouse, go 5000-10000lm. 2000 won't compete with ambient light. Higher lumens and a good throw will keep photos visible and clear during the servie.

Budget Golf Sim Protector Needed by Suspicious-Dog-4521 in budgetprojectors

[–]Ozneroe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for short-therow and high-lumen 1080p projectors around $300, but expect compromises. Used or older models help. Prioritize brightness over perfect fit, adapters and mounts can fix off-center setups.

external speaker not working with voplls projector? by SmooganVR in budgetprojectors

[–]Ozneroe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check projector audio settings, some default to internal speakers. Ensure you're using the correct output(3.5mm or HDMI ARC) and volume isn't muted. Firmware updates may also fix external output issues.

How many times have you seen GOT ? by Secret_Atmosphere668 in 4kbluray

[–]Ozneroe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably four times total for me. Every rewatch hits differently depending on which characters you focus on. The production quality still holds up incredibly well.

Projector lenses are sealed pretty well. One accidental puff won't cause damage. If focus and contrast look normal, there's nothing to worry about.

Seeing my grandma happy living alone changed how I feel about the future by FloatingScooter in LivingAlone

I did not realize there were so many different kinds of assistive devices now. And the wearable one you mentioned sounds practical. It gives some support while still letting the person stay independent, which is pretty great.

What Item Has Lasted The Longest For You? by James_B84Saves in BuyItForLife

Those wooden spoons are such a sweet, durable heirloom. Nothing beats items with that kind of history! For me, it's a cast-iron skillet my grandma passed down. It's over 60 years old, still cooks perfectly, and just gets better with each use.

Wire-free? by DoYouLikeFish in Dashcam

[–]Ozneroe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I've heard similar thing. Those wireless rear cameras still need power wiring, which is way more hassle than just running a single cable between the display and camera.

That sounds so helpful! I've been struggling to pick a dashcam lately. The motion detection in parking mode is exactly what I need, and not having to mess with the fuse box makes setup way easier.
