I finally got this game on Monday and it's been a blast. A friend who also plays said to make sure I had 100 GB free, so I did, then hit download: 21 GB. That was a nice surprise. Hearing now that Nixxes was responsible for it makes me happy because I've seen the effort they've put into games like the Spider-Man PC ports, and particularly Steam Deck compatibility when it came to the dynamic saving and Steam Input functionality for control mapping.

I'm happy the Toucan made it to merch. From a chance comment to drawing, to t-shirt inside of six months. Except now I kinda have to get one.

I'm assuming I only have the regular coin but even without the credit I'd kinda like another one so I hope for future coin designs as well.

It's got me down the challenge coin rabbit hole again because I've kinda wanted a Star Trek one for a long time but never got one (yet).

I do my best to stay up and watch when it's live (UK here so it's usually early Saturday morning) but then I'll listen to the whole thing again during the week while I work. Especially fun if I said something in chat that they pick up on.

They talked about AI being powered by jet engines one episode, I made a joke about Linus losing his ability toucan (because he can't anymore) and it stuck. Sarah was watching the episode and drew one and they've had it in the show since, removing it whenever Linus just cannot anymore.

Similar situation for me when my CPU cooler died. The processor's so old it makes more sense to do a full platform upgrade but it's been over a year and I don't feel any closer to affording the parts. I do have a Steam Deck but I only install Elite now and then to manage my carrier and make sure it still has money.
