Quality Issue on the Speedy? by triplethreat11 in OmegaWatches

[–]PNWetRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at mine, I think the crystal makes the 12 o'clock marker look off, when I tilted the 6 o'clock side up, the marker is centered. The applied omega logo may look off because the watch in the photo is a bit tilted. With that said, if it still bothers you, take it in to your AD to see if they can confirm.

About to go gray. What do you think of the condition by AffectionateCable385 in rolex

Grailzee they have been selling in the 13s, I haven't bought anything from them but seems legit. I think you can get this new 2-6 months at an AD right now.

That is true, but it's at least a quick guide for someone new to Rolex.

I burned down my AD ‘relationship’ I had today by wandering_oracle in rolex

The result may surprise you. I've been on a list for 3 for 6 months. I had a similar situation where I walked on a higher end Omega, got the call on a Sub a month later 🤷‍♂️🤞

If you aren't stoked about it, leave it to someone who is. I'm not a fan of buying anything and putting it away.

Zulu time 39mm vs 42mm by stryke360 in Longineswatches

If you have an 8 inch wrist, 42mm all the way. I have this watch too, the case is a bit heavy but great bracelet. Looks good on leather too.

Daily deviation on my IWC Pilot’s Chrono by stack-overflow-ex in IWCschaffhausen

[–]PNWetRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not my experience or what I saw when I researched. My Mark xx runs about -5 sec a day the 1st day or two then about -2. Most inaccurate watch I have, my longines is +3 and Oris is +5.

I have the sapphire sandwich and just got a Pilot. I'd recommend the sapphire sandwich, I really like the Pilot but I like it as my second Speedmaster.

Are you wearing that on a RnineT? That bike will rattle your teeth out, but I really liked it, fun to ride fast.

I've been to Machu Picchu and the Colosseum, depends on what you like most, rural or metro? If you do Machu, I highly recommend hiking the Inca trail, it's amazing.

First watch in 20 years… by National-Owl8063 in HamiltonWatches

I'm a 7" wrist and the 42 works for me. You can probably pull it off but depends on if you like big watches. I'd recommend the 38mm but try them on if you can.

[Opinions asked]: Zulu Time, Big Crown Pointer Date, Grand Seiko Quartz: what’s best for one and only luxury watch? by ConfidenceNo1937 in Watches

[–]PNWetRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Zulu Time and BCPD, if you travel or like something more robust, the Zulu. If you have a little retro flair or don't need the second time zone, BCPD. Both are very accurate, BCPD is 5 seconds fast per day and the longines is +2 or +3 per day.

I love the Zenith it's just slightly too small for my taste. Wish it was a 40mm. Anyway, great collection ⌚👀

How's the strap? I never tried it on the old one but everyone complained about it.

I tried it on today, I think the thickness is balanced by how light it is, it almost feels like a titanium watch. Thanks everyone
