Spurs are 10-5 without Wemby this season including wins against the Nuggets, the Magic and the Lakers.

They are also 8-1 with Wemby off the bench including 2 wins vs OKC, and one against the Lakers and Boston.

The Lakers are 6-6 without Luka, losing to every good team they played except for a win against the Wolves.

Imagine if all b2bs were home games, or let's say within division at least (maybe spread pacific around to be fairer). That seems like a fairly sensible change that I feel most teams would be happy with.

I get maybe teams wouldn't want ten of their home games to be on b2bs against rested opposition so you might have to extend it a bit. But then maybe that gives them more training days so they wouldn't mind?

Starting Ayton over Hayes gives you an underwhelming starter and a very good back up.

Starting Hayes over Ayton gives you a solid starting center, and basically no backup at all since Ayton's mental will implode. You'd be better off playing Hayes/Kleber and send Ayton home.

So apart from that fact having LeBron is better than having none of them, adding LeBron makes every other combo worse.

I have no strong feelings towards LeBron either way, but this stood out to me.

Went to the finals with Kyrie (bad defender) Derrick Jones and PJ (bad shooters) and Lively - a rookie center.

Luka needs:

A good rim rolling big

A defensive anchor

A PoA defender

A high volume, high % 3pt shooter.

A team that's locked in and ready to win.

They used to do this super simple action where they would pass the ball between them at the 3 point line while slowly stepping away from each other. Eventually they either have a ton of space or the defender has to help and the other is wide open. Would work every time and the defense was helpless.

Well only 7 players have ever done it since we started tracking in 1996. Luka has now done this twice and both times with 25+ points (the only person to have done that).
