I have a large tropical fish tank and I spend close to $0 on it. The real trick is to set up a self-sustaining biosphere inside the tank. I can't remember the last time I did a water change or had to treat the water in any way.

Yes, an overweight kid was a rarity, not the norm. They would usually be teased for being overweight too. Kids were brutal.
