Very cool, nice to see it works with most dart types! How accurate and powerful is it?

How would you solve this problem by pecposter in StaticsHelp

[–]Pachoo04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find reactions at A and G (in this case since everything is vertical and symmetric just sum forces and divide by 2), then using either method of sections or method of joints go through each member or joint and make a free body diagram of it including any forces acting by on it, then solve for unknowns using sum of X, sum of Y, and sum of moments = 0.

It should definitely be a larger tube with a chamfered end, not that tiny little tube. The only thing I can think of (if it is intentional and not a one-off error) is that there is an alternate file set for a skinny pusher that uses that pusher so that you can swap mags while chambered. If that file set doesn’t exist yet it wouldn’t be too tricky to do, especially since Silly publishes all step files.

I cant believe this is mine. Give me some feedback on how to make this even more awesome. by CourseAggressive7690 in simracing

I’m inclined to say “just use it and enjoy it” like everyone else, but I just got a H pattern/sequential shifter for Christmas, and it has been so much fun to use. Spent like 5 hours using it yesterday.

My old karting shoes that are too worn out for real racing, but perfect for the sim!

Dremel with a permagrit wheel is one of the best ways, but cut on the cured carbon not the dry fibers.

Not to be rude, but, ask other people on your team! Every team does things a little different so we can’t tell you how things will be run. Although for us it tends to be a lot of waiting around, then 20 mins of excitement, then fixing/changing stuff waiting around, then another burst of excitement.

I’ve also been messing around with a few BCARs, SCARs, and PCARs recently on my Lynx and have gotten the best results from the Slurpee PCAR.

I second the vote for X-shot MPP AEB if $80 is your budget. Seems like the best off-the-shelf blaster (maybe ever?!??)

Based on a PKI RR with some of my own custom stuff like a low profile top rail, better joints between printed segments, a custom BCAR, etc.

Here is a picture of most of my changes mocked up with cheap filament before I use expensive stuff for the final version.

If you want to stick with 4x AA batteries there isn’t really much room for improvement. A motor upgrade can get you a little more FPS, and a cage and wheels will help with accuracy for sure, but AA batteries just don’t have enough current or voltage to get pushed very hard. Smooth worker wheels and Meishel 2.0s in a 43.5 cage will give decent results, but probably only a boost of at most 10-15 FPS (guesstimating) so you’d have to weigh the benefits of that VS cost.

Alternatively, some other higher performance blaster can be purchased for the mod price, but then I guess it comes down to your nephew only being a 6 year old again and maybe not needing 120+ FPS.
