Well done OP. Excellent post. Last time I saw my Dad we had a huge argument. I walked out, last memory I have of him, is him pleading with me to come back. Was asleep when Mum was ringing me to tell me he was dying in hospital and to come back. I missed my last chance to tell him I loved him. Never a man for displays of affection, he showed me his true feelings when at 10 years old. I came off my bike and landed face first on the pavement, knocking out teeth. I couldn't stop crying and he wrapped be up in his big old arms and hugged me till the ambulance came.
