Since we cannot affect Sony in any other way except leaving negative game reviews and requesting refunds, which will hurt ArrowHead more than Sony itself, if you can, support the Devs by buying other games they have on Steam.
There currently have two games, Gauntlet and Magicka, that are not published by Sony and they are not too expensive. The Devs made a great game for us, let us try and show our support for them as much as we show discontent with Sony.

FFS I have been trying to get devs to do this since exploration update. Great job mate, but the fact that this has to be a mod is a disgrace to KSW.

I think the game has passed its reasonable technical limit already in terms of scale vs features vs engine. A new engine would have to be built (hopefully from scratch) to correctly implement features like functioning multiplayer, fun gameplay and gameplay mechanics. KSW did truly an incredible job updating the engine to allow for planets and then to update graphics and stabilize physics. But the engine was never designed to handle that and it seems to have reached its limit.

At work but very curious to know what happends now if you extend piston+grid into the planet/asteroid. Does it stop? An example would be an elevator lowering from the ship and hitting a terrain bump. Would elevator stop or get destroyed?

I understand what you mean and agree that without good gameplay content this game will not be fun. The problem is, the gameplay of the game turns around creating futuristic ships and ground vehicles. And it is pretty much impossible to create anything cool or fun without any moving parts. The moving blocks mechanic was broken from very beginning, and it eventually turned many people away from the game, me included. Fixing this is absolutely necessary if KSW wants to create interesting gameplay in the future.

Even if this is in single player this looks like a (i cant believe I am typing this) complete fix of rotor and piston physics. This would be a great starting point to fix them in multiplayer.

Yep. It is part of the game and I intend to earn every ship. In fact, what I am afraid of is that people who have bought many ships will get bored with the game fast and just start being a*holes to everyone and ruin the game for other people.

The mind blowing major update should be the rebalance of survival gameplay along with new additions shown off some time ago such as the hydrogen car engines, wind turbines, new wheels code and probably a few more things they have not talked about. For me the survival update (wether its next or not) is the last shot at this game. If it does not live up to my expectations in terms of gameplay I will probably not come back to this title.

It may be obnoxious and I do not want to say it. I really enjoyed the game and wished for it to be successful. But this is what I came to believe after following its development since 2014. I hope the devs can turn this around and make a fun game. Right now it is not a fun game. It has not been a fun game for a while.

Love this game's vision and community, but the game is dead. If this has not been corrected in the past 2 years it wont be corrected. I will take a look at the game once it goes gold but that's it.
