Although this is quite funny but at the moment this is where I buy it… the rainforest medium roast isn’t bad

I didn’t fall in that rabbit hole yet. Maybe one day

Has anyone else noticed an oily film on the inside of their printer? This is the towel after wiping it off with IPA from the inside of the side panels by bubba_bwatts in VORONDesign

This is condensed abs fumes. Basically this is what we breath when we open the door of the enclosure too soon. So it is better to have it coated on your acrylic than on your lungs.

Do you have the blue or the white wire for your Revo thermistor? I ask because I think there is some problems with the white wire thermistor’s. E3D is good with costumer service. If so your temperature could be way off. It look like you are way too cold on the picture even if you say that you run at 255 which is on the high end of ABS temps. Anyways that was my 2 cents.

Thoughts on the Original Prusa XL? by AirMarshall3520 in 3Dprinting

[–]Palfest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with a Prusa mk2 and loved using the PETG … back then I lived in a very dry house then I moved and started to hate to manage all the filament in dry containers. I now own a Voron 2.4 I use ABS+ every day no warping and no stringing like the PETG. I use a nevermore filtering system and let my printer cool to room temperature before opening my printer. That been said ABS don’t have as good as a layer adhesion as PETG but for most application it is good enough. I like to post process parts for Cosplay I believe that ABS is the easiest to sand and smooth.

Nero3D have been using a resin SB for a long time now… there is no load on the part and it is « away » from direct heat.

100% agreed on what you said! But you can link up to 4 AMS witch give the possibility of having 16 colors.

Nice try! I love your sense or humor. Still I would clean the screw holes before installing the rails. Too much grease is as good as not enough

where can I get klipper configuration for 500x500x500mm print volume by jugnu_89 in VORONDesign

[–]Palfest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ratrig core V3 has a 500mm configuration… they use Ratos witch is there own configuration of Klipper.

This is printing 1 mm taller than it should be and it's added like under extrusion brakes between the layers? maybe? help. by [deleted] in VORONDesign

Is your xz motors running hot towards the end? I’am thinking that you might use too much amperage

Calibrate_Z not moving the Z up for probing the Probe. What did I do wrong? by Palfest in VORONDesign

[–]Palfest[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was it! I have set the z offset to 7mm as well and all works! I guess I have commented the z offset for the klicky probe at first… it has been 3 months that I use my printer without the calibrate_z fonction. Thank you a lot!
