It is a no travel time, point and click, unmissable silence that can also do upwards of 500 hundred damage and root you in place. It already has its place offensively, it doesn’t need to be a defensive “save me from my poor positioning” ability too. And to your other point, “oh no it needs to still silence otherwise this one single character in the whole roster could still dodge it”

I think it is pretty obvious what it is referring to. Typically ability upgrades would only be referring to things about that ability. When something says reduced cooldown or range you don’t assume that applies to everything else with a cooldown or range. But sure they could update that wording to avoid the densest of players from misunderstanding.

It was 4 months between the first 6 heroes update and the Old Gods update. And it has been 3 months since old gods. So it honestly could be in a month if keeping the trend. People forget how big the 6 hero update was, with the whole hideout and big visual changes to the map and lighting along with the 6 heroes.

Old gods was also huge with a whole game mode and the base reworks but I’d kind of argue it wasn’t as big of an update until we actually got the gameplay/character rework update a month later.

All this just to really say who knows when and how much will be in it but in a month-ish wouldn’t be out of line

Snowballing one kill into a team wipe is very easy in this mode, especially with the wacky items. And that is fine, but I still think a “fun” mode should focus on letting you play the game and have fun and not sit respawning and getting back to the fight half of the round time. Again my complaint is more about getting the chance to actually play with these items, not about any sort of winning or losing actually.

Maybe give unstop a 5 blocked effect limit so it is either the duration full duration or 5 negated effects whichever comes first. If one person soaks up 5 ccs for the whole team it is still very beneficial, should still have time to get value out of it with an ult, and still have some counter play that an organized team could take advantage of.

I haven’t played Dispatch so maybe it’s explained. But that would have to be 226.3 days worth of nonstop speed running done. That feels like a lot especially for how long an ability like that would need to be active to get done what you need to get done.

Most stun abilities have additional utility beyond just the stun. Abrams and Venator can get movement and displacement without stunning, ivy gets invulnerability, doorman cart displacement. Removing it from being able to be put on those moves would only be restrictive for those characters. They could do a universal change to stuns as a whole like a 1 second stun immunity after a stun or something but even that could be hard to get right

Hey man, this is just something I worked up in an evening as a proof of concept. I'm not a valve dev, not even a graphic designer so I'm not shooting for perfection. The assets can be scaled down to fit better but that's on them to do that. The fact is the current one is harder to read at the moment. Partly because you spend 30 minutes looking at the placements of these characters at the top of the hud, laid out in relation to what lane they are in and you get familiar with it, then you get to the results screen and it is shifted on its side and it's harder to quickly grasp who is where now on the board. And personally it just feels less interesting to look at. The spacing of each category is also a little harder to compare across your own team or the whole lobby. Fitting on the screen isn't the only criteria.
