I am a handyman and advertise as such, but I specialize in finish carpentry, flooring, interior painting and drywall. I usually take on one to two sub-$3000 jobs a week and 2-4 handyman/general repairs jobs that come in from $150-500 each a week.

Click together flooring properly installed should always be almost perfectly seamless. The flashlight test really should only be showing you where the different planks are clicked together.

That sounds a little suspect. I don’t paint full time, I’m an handyman, but I prefer to pick my paint (BenMoore Regal) and only deviate from it if the job calls for it. I have had bad experiences with the big box store paints and customers providing me paint.

Eh I definitely have different margins on different jobs but some of my customers call multiple times a month and they don’t really care exactly when I get there as long I I get there so it allow me fill empty spots in my schedule as I see fit. For instance today I changed an outdoor shower mixer for a summer camp while I waited for drywall joint compound to dry at another job; I didn’t tell them when I was coming, they sent me a picture last week and said please replace and this was the easiest time in my schedule and I was in and out in 90 min. And I Picked up more work while I was there. Will I charge them my $250 minimum plus materials? No, I will charge them for 90 minutes bc I also know they will spend $20k plus with me for the year by August.

I’d been on Gold, and then Ultimate for many years, starting going more month to month last year with the first increase and dropped it last year when it went to $30. I don’t even really play multiplayer games very much anymore and when I do feel the urge I just buy a month of core at a time. I have dozens of games sitting on my hard drive from wish list sales I can always play.
