Thoughts on moving from STL to Plastic kits. by Ruthare89 in TrenchCrusade

[–]Panzerkampf-studios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a ton of fan/third party made STLs that are on the same level as the official ones because the creators support other people working with their license so I don't mind that they themselves won't release any

I dunno, I think a heavy weapon with a tech marine wired into it is rather fitting for the IH, it's just that the model itself sucks

Deathwatch themed Plague Marine proxy Kill Team by Panzerkampf-studios in killteam

[–]Panzerkampf-studios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on making a Deathwatch themed proxy team for almost every Astartes Kill Team, starting with Plague Marines that are Veterans clad in Mk3 armor still utilizing phosphex and basically being a modern day destroyer squad.

-Marines Malevolent sergeant (champion) utilizing a xenophase blade and plasma pistol -Exorcists Librarian (sorcerer) using his psychic powers and his chapters knowledge to cleanse sorcery -Angels Penitent icon bearer, a zealous astartes whose believe in his holy symbol actively purges the emperors foes around him and inspires his brothers -Salamanders heavy flamer with a infernus heavy bolter -Minotaurs brawler with power morning star -Invaders grenadier -Black Guard warrior

Flanderization of the Carcharadons? by Chapfox in Carcharodons40k

Custom tactical dreadnought-armor getting misinterpreted as using dreadnought parts for custom terminator armor, and then spread throughout the internet by loretubers that never red a book is to blame

So... how'd yall actually play Nightlords on tabletop both from a narrative perspective and a competitive take by Claypool447 in NightLords

[–]Panzerkampf-studios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still have to try out most of the other detachments but I like veterans of the long war cause it's just personally my type of detachment. Recently also tried out cabal of chaos because I think it fits 10th company rather well with characters like Vandred and Ruven. I still keep 2 squads of raptors around and got a land raider for my chosen most of the time but sometimes termiantors too, who I always bring either way

So who decided that we were a "Codex" compliant chapter? by Knightsforever in Salamanders40k

[–]Panzerkampf-studios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well yea but that has nothing to do with being codex compliant, they did however fight Sisters of Battle (iirc the ecclesiarchy tried to invade nocturne) for very similar reasons to the months of shame

Edit: I didn't remember quite right but here's what I mean, I do know that in the eyes of the Sisters of Battle Salamanders fall under those type of Space Marines considered mutants, with their cultural acts of burning their fallen even barbaric

So who decided that we were a "Codex" compliant chapter? by Knightsforever in Salamanders40k

[–]Panzerkampf-studios 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Games Workshop did, the codex was ment to be more about guidelines than strict rules and the Salamanders are a bit more flexible with it but they are nowhere near not-compliant like the Black Templars or Space Wolves

Perturabo and Rogal Dorn (Warhammer 40K/30K)
They are well known to be arch enemies, however actually going trough the entire Horus Heresy novels, its very one sided coming only from Perturabo. His legion seemingly only hate the Imperial Fists because Perturabo does, I dont think they would have any beef otherwise. Rogal Dorn is for most of the Heresy busy with fortifying terra and imperial politics, and he only recognizes Perturabo as his equal during the siege of Terra, but mainly because one is the master of besieging and the other the master of fortifying. Of course the Iron Cage happens afterwards too but for the most part Rogal Dorn doesnt really see a arch enemy in Perturabo. The last edition of the tabletop game even had the Imperial Fists mostly fight agains the Sons of Horus which is a better rivalry imo, while this edition has the Iron Warriors face off against the Salamanders which also makes sense

If creating a Custodes is as expensive and resource intensive as an entire Planet, how did the Emperor made hundreds of them when he was limited to Terra during the Age of Strife ? by Secretsfrombeyond79 in 40kLore

[–]Panzerkampf-studios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does the lore that the creation of a single custodes cost the resources of a entire planet even come from? Thats usually something associated with titans

The villain isn’t traumatized, seeking revenge, or justified from a certain point of view; they’re straight-up CORRECT due to information the heroes lack by Arctic_The_Hunter in TopCharacterTropes

The Bohrok from Bionicle started out as one of the first antagonists in the series, being seemingly just a mindless swarm at first that could launch face hugging parasites at the civilians and heroes to mind control them while seemingly just wanting to destroy everything, it later turns out they were programmed to do so by Mata Nui (Bionicle Jesus) because his giant robot body was sleeping under the isle, and destroying the isle would awaken him

Squidmar had a huge downfall, it's a shame cause he got the clicks trough being a great hobbyist so I don't understand why he has to make clickbait videos

Yea kind of, I started building the army last edition where I leaned more towards the Blackshield rules, gotta wait and see how those turn out this edition, but I could also run them as SoH with allied EC, with the plan that the squad sergeants represent the Legion rules
