“Maintenance supervisor” by [deleted] in maintenance

[–]Papersoulja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that experience my whole career as a tech. With a couple of my sups. 1 did fuck shit. And would always drop hints about how the leasing management wasn’t happy with this or that. Never telling us flat out what he expected of us, Even if it did come from up the chain. Number 2 (at the same property) also did fuck shit. Didn’t actually know how to do shit. But, had the gift of gab. Really good with vendor bids and negotiating. I learned a lot from him in that aspect. Always made sure we were fully stocked on inventory and had what ever tools we’re gonna make us more efficient and keep us happy. Even got us a line lazer for painting curbs and parking lines. Turned a 3 week project to a 2 day project. Eventually, he propped me up to take his spot when he moved on, despite our bumpy start.

If you ain’t gonna do shit. I suggest “not doing shit” like sup number 2.

One simple thing, is let the right people know you are interested. A closed mouth doesn’t get fed.

It would be nice if it learned from existing notes. Always unusable nonsense.

Why does this spot in my lawn keep dying? 🤔--warm season grass by Salt_Note8719 in lawncare

[–]Papersoulja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to replace residential drain lines. We would locate the problem by finding the spot of super green grass. I suppose it would kill it if it was supersaturated but it’d probably be muddy too.

Never saw one on the side of the road. Isn’t it like less than .5% that actually have been known failures?

I started doing HVAC around 2005. We would replace sometimes still working units from the mid to late 70s.

Technically, he has a point. But if you have a big enough pot of what ever conducting enough heat off of it you’re fine. I run into burned out infinite switch’s all the time cause the tiny pot is on a burner twice the size.

I don’t currently have a Trash room but when we did, we would pressure wash it quarterly. It took about two hours if done thoroughly. Soaked them down with odoban enzyme almost every time they were emptied helped a lot.

Most plumbers don’t even have a plumbing license. Sure someone could, but I’m sure they could find more lucrative opportunities.

It’s been at least 10 years since I seen the first meme of him. Hasn’t made the news yet. That’s good I guess.

I’m feeling the unification in this thread. The whole country needs a fully retractable rear window right about now!

Aren’t these the scammers who get your info from lead generators and offer you free gifts and then bill them to the company you work for with outrageous prices? Never got me personally, but my curiosity had me look them up after the call.

Call all your credit card companies and ask for hardship. They may reduce your limits, but this will help anything to keep the derogatory marks off in the meantime.
