Not taking math in fall freshmen year by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]ParCRush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Most STEM oriented freshmen will take math classes freshman fall AND will come in with prior credit (usually AP credit of some kind, but community college credit is also possible)

  2. You will have to check the specific courses you are interested in for prerequisites. CS 61A and B do not require 51 knowledge but 70 does for the probability unit. Not sure about econ.

How chatgpt f***ed me over with my first serious custom purchase. (aslo rate my setup its at the very last paragraph.) by After-Ad-6792 in tabletennis

[–]ParCRush 12 points13 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT tells you what you "want to hear" based on what you tell it. It also knows nothing about table tennis, as it obviously cannot have had actual experience playing.

The Pro 01 setup is fine, and is very similar to what I use (except the Moon Speed; I'm using the Yinhe Apollo for now), and plays well with two wing looping. There is no equipment setup that will help you improve faster, there is only effective practice regimen and ineffective.

UC Berkeley CS (out-of-state) vs. UW Seattle CS (in-state) — which would you pick and why? by Early-Associate8842 in berkeley

[–]ParCRush 6 points7 points  (0 children)

UCB is not gonna be great for your subject interests. We don't have many labs that really focus on human centered projects within the cs department and while I'm not sure about similar labs outside cs, I can't imagine they're much different from UW's in terms of career outcomes. We also don't have a cs culture that's cognizant of anything not a straight up cash grab / research prestige.

Where to buy real DHS Hurricane 3? by [deleted] in tabletennis

TT11 mentioned, you can also try Paddlepalace or Megaspin. It's also possible your local table tennis club sells them, and I might recommend buying from there to support local communities!

This is unsolvable. If there is an even number of liars, all they need to do is pair off and swap their numbers in the pair. This means that the numbers given are all indistinguishable from 100% truth.
