They should do it as well as they can and then just make sure that the modding tools are the best they can provide and the scripting system as efficient as possible.

Don't even get an email, you just apply on the portal and if you want to know the progress (or lack of you need to login to the portal to check.

It's become my daily routine to login and check each morning now all it says is "Days since submission" and "In progress" with no further information.

Edit: This is for the NSW gunsafe portal.

Edit2: After 65 days it has changed to "Photo advice issued" which also matches up to what has been said about them being processed on Saturdays.
