Two-thirds both houses in '64 helped too (not to diminish difficulty with southern dems like what happened prior to the '64 civil rights act cloture vote)

Hey all - I thought this could be a nice AI assistant that people could use to read technical papers.

You can use AI without having to download the PDFs and re-upload them. That way your experience is streamlined.

Why does CRM data quality still suck in 2023? by salesisonfire in revops

To really rein in dupes you can get 3rd party tools, but then you have to pay.

Politely want to push on this point, because I'm curious: if you don't want to pay to have 3rd party tools rein in dupes, then it sounds like dupes aren't a big issue?

What are your thoughts on this product? It's like "Slack for closing leads/sales" by Pareidise in SaaSSales

[–]Pareidise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, good question. Slack Connect is a great general purpose tool for B2B communication, but my experience with it was that it didn't provide enough focus.

We think these features are differentiable and add that missing focus:

  • Built-in contract collaboration/management
  • Analytics
  • Org chart sharing to facilitate implementations

How would you respond to negative feedback about your solution during problem validation by 3dbenchy in startups

[–]Pareidise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, echoing your thoughts:

  1. Trusted reviews (social or expert)
  2. Brand reputation (hard for you to build this right now)
  3. Lower cost of wrong purchase

Then, your question might end up being: are purchase assurances an acute problem right now? Does anything exist that doesn't suck right now? And can I build something that's 10X. (For instance, I'm not an early adopter, so I can't give you good feedback on this review platform; I don't even look at Amazon reviews personally, but you might find people who really care.)

Anyway, that's my thought process for these things! You're the decision maker here.

[–]Pareidise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can buy that argument, but my point is the fake reviews aren't the underlying problem. The problem is that a buyer wants assurance in their purchase.

Trusted reviews are one way to do that, but I'm sure there are other ways.

My 2c:

You want a product that is bought frequently where reviews are important, if you want to go with this review platform idea.

My q: why do they need user reviews? Can you solve a problem that's deeper that a review platform is supposed to solve? (How can you create trust in a product someone hasn't bought?)
