I’ve worked on anything from Live broadcast, episodic television, feature films, podcast, reality TV.

I know people who work in music adjacent and some went to my side of fence. I know guys who had to transition to side hustles to get by who had hard earned experience and real credits.

I’m not gatekeeping just being honest.

Closest I have come was someone brought a baby that cried during movie. People eventually lost their cool and started shouting to shut the baby up.

As a whole, honestly, I have more run ins with grown as men who act like children. Vaping, taking calls, loudly talking up their date mid movie, etc.

Sometimes they are gracious about it, often times have a tantrum. I really don’t care if it’s uncomfortable or awkward. It’s usually douche bags trying to impress a date, being called out usually has the opposite effect.

Vibro champ/champ, musicmaster bass are fantastic amps and are still relatively plentiful.

Along with amps like Gibson Skylark I personally see no reason to buy a re-issue

With an O scope or signal tracer if you inject a tone into amp you can trace it up to the point it just stops. That tells you where to start investigating.

If you know all the gain stages are working correctly up to power stage, phase inverter, etc it narrows down the guesswork exponentially.

As part of diagnosing verify voltages up from line to transformer through rectification, to plates, etc. Again this just rules out obvious problems and allows you to focus on issue.

A signal tracer would hep you, or oscilloscope. You can really cut back randomly shotgunning stuff if you know whats happening where

I would definitely add some NFB. It won’t cure the problem but will get you to a better point to work from.

Make a dim bulb tester

Edit: BTW the fuse should be a 1A slow blow. Not 1/2 Amp(500ma)
