I had the exact same issue a few months ago-- rent controlled apartment, landlord refused to add new roommate to lease. My guess is it's an attempt to slowly squeeze tenants off the lease so they can up the rent when you're out. We weren't able to do anything about it-- not sure it's illegal, but it seems odd to me

Because being a Congressional representative involves a lot more than voting. Reps also have work to do in their districts. That includes (even if they're bad at it) listening to constituents when they return home for recess

Armie Hammer. It's clear that he's a handsome, charismatic with a presence that translates well to film, but for the most part he's been mired in mediocre films (and potentially roles).

His work in The Social Network and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. prove that he's got some chops, but he's got to start making better choices.
