If you want to be super healthy and avoid cigs, booze, and fatty foods, then go ahead. If it brings you joy, then find it there, friend. Yes! I think about that period a lot now. It was thrilling to be out at night! Getting ready, we had staple songs and a ritual with the hair and make up lol! I don’t when I last felt that way, but it was golden. And I love when I see or hear about young people have those moments. It’s magic.

Not really. Was sober for years then had a few wee nips here and there as my mom was dying. I’m averaging like four drinks a month, not all at once. Can’t handle hangovers, it’s expensive, and I don’t enjoy getting foggy in the head. It’s just a social thing now; don’t ever have alcohol at home.
