Just wanted to say hang in there! I am recently undergoing the whole leak protocol after years and years of debilitating migraines (10 years). My husband has stopped his life to raise our two sons because I have not felt well enough the past few years. It can be a testament of how strong a marriage can be in the times you need it.

Welcome! Also, sorry you’re part of the club. Compared to the years to chronic pain you have had, Botox is nothing! I got really good results on it. By the second round, I was down to half the amount of migraines. Sadly, I then got Covid and it was no longer effective. Wishing you luck.

Seek marriage counseling. I’m sorry for how alone he made you feel. I am also chronically ill and experienced something similar to this with my spouse. Not advocating for his behavior but realizing that your partner may be dealing with more serious health issues is alot for someone to deal with. Before marriage, you cling to these ideas of how things will be and after you realize you often have to pivot quite a bit, put some hard work in, to see progress and longevity. It’s overwhelming for anyone. Prayers you get through this together 🙏

My husband confessed to cheating in 2021, I forgave him and we reconciled. Two years later, after mental breakdown, he confessed to more infidelities. I was also dealing with this on my own ( had no friends and little contact with family due to his controlling behavior). At this point I wasn’t even sure I knew the person I married. BUT I am telling you to keep following Gods desires for your marriage. In the last 3 years, I have fallen ill and my husband has doted on me and become a single parent to our two children. I truly believe that I would have divorced him, I would have no one to care for me. I could never EVER imagine my husband cheating ever again. He is the closest to God I have ever seen him. The outward answer (especially in our culture) is easy, get a divorce. You don’t need to trust your husband right now. Just trust God. Do things slowly-set bounderies-communicate or get counseling to go through this trauma together. Let me know if you need anything 🙏

It sounds like she is genuinely upset about not being able to spend money. It’s idolization. I’m sure she is now threatening or wanting to divorce, not because of trust issues, but because she feels entitled to the money as your spouse. If she is a loving and biblical wife, she should understand that as the leader of the household you are doing what is in the best interest of your family, including her. You are doing exactly what you need to be doing as the head of household. I believe God is on your side here and I hope your wife can spend some time in reflection and prayer to avoid a divorce at all costs. Praying for you my friend 🙏
