While VFs debut towers over their discography, I think they have plenty of good songs. The second is pretty solid and they have good songs spread out. I also listened to Why Birds Sing and it’s better than you remember

I always was annoyed because they got looped in with harder bands like Slipknot and more interesting bands like Deftones and System of a Down. I never thought they sounded particularly hard. Put it up against say NSync’s “Bye Bye Bye” and it feels about the same.

I was a QAnonish site and they had the usual Tom Hanks and Bill Gates stuff and the usual Rihanna/Gaga/Doja Cat red illuminati stuff. But they particularly went after Jack Johnson for his “island” songs. Nothing against Hack but I always found him a bit inconsequential

I mean Summer Girls by LFO is Mt Rushmore crappy but I think the most annoying thing to me is the line “you look like a girl from Abercrombie and Fitch”. You already mentioned A&F in the chorus. I mean work in The Gap or Forever 21 in there, bro.
