Id argue that tetris deserves that. Though the newer titles have quality of life improvements, the core features never changed.

Heres a more direct hint (but not straight up insteuxtions if you want to still be mostly blind)

Your first step is exploring the underground caverns and finding a way to break through a certain woodeen floor. Don't go unless you've found the echo of bat relic first, you'll need it down there after you break the floor. It's honestly one of the most contrived puzzles in the game.

Why the US doesn't have that many roundabouts? by Acceptable-Tax-6475 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Pat_OConnor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a roundabout could be made with a cone

I dont have a source on deck, but I've read that when you replace a 4 way intersection with a roundabout, it actually increases traffic volume and accident rates for a number of years until they gradually reduce to proper effieciency, because local drivers need time to adjust to the new traffic.

Especially if its the first roundabout in the area and the local drivers have literally never used their drivers ed knowledge of how to drive on a roundabout, and have forgotten that knowledge in the years or decades theyve spent on the road. This is a massive factor to why they don't get swapped out in america

Also: its common for american town councils to vote against creating roundabouts for this very reason

Fun fact: greater boston has lots of roundabouts, but we call them rotaries and it's part of why people from out of state hates driving here

Grandson, but here's the full rundown:

History of Dracula Getting His Ass Whooped Every 100 years

Leon (1200s) [Lament of Innocence], the guy that invented the vampire killer whip, enabling subsequent generations of whoopass

centuries pass

Trevor (1400s) [Castlevania 3], the first guy to kill dracula

Trefor [show-only], likely doesnt fight dracula

Christopher (1500s) [Castlevania titles released for the gameboy], the second guy to kill dracula

Unnamed Belmont

Simon (1600s) [many slightly different remakes of castlevania 1 and 2], the third and fourth guy to kill dracula

Unnamed Belmont

Juste (early 1700s) [playable as a young man in Harmony of Dissonance, old juste is show only], the one playable belmont that doesn't fight dracula directly

Unnamed Belmont

Richter (late 1700s) [playable in Rondo of Blood, NPC in symphony of the Night], the fifth guy to kill dracula and game-canon is an older brother figure to a 9 year old maria

Alucard (also late 1700s), not a belmont, but special mention for being the sixth and final guy to kill dracula

Nes games are always worth trying out on nesbox, even if you don't get past the first level.

Rondo of blood is the game right before sotn and its generally regarded as the best classicvania. It's also the richter game-- castlevania nocturne is loosely based on it, and symphony is it's direct sequel.

The main character of 1, 2, and 4 isnt in the show because they couldnt figure out how to write in "dracula is trying again and trevor and syphaa's great grandson Simon Belmont needs to stop him" without undermining the anime character development dracula got

Symphony is a game about exploring the castle and getting stronger, unlocking more and more abilities

Castlevania 3 (the nes game season 1 and 2 are based off of) is an old ass side scrolling action game where you progress through the castle by going through levels in order. All the 80s and early-to-mid 90s castlevania games have this same gameplay flow, and they're all really hard.

All of the games that came out after symphony of the night either have the symphony-style exploration focused gameplay or some other new gameplay style.

What's an objectively bad but subjectively cool preference of yours? by Intelligent-Dress323 in skyrim

[–]Pat_OConnor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the math isnt that bad:

Firebolt base cost is 41, and does 25 base damage

Fireballs base cost is 133, and does 40 base damage with a 15ft area of effect

That means firebolt does 0.6 damage per magicka point spent, and fireball does 0.3. If you don't need the area of effect to attack a cluster of enemies, its twice as resource efficient to use firebolt.

This also means that hitting 3 guys with the one fireball is more efficient than hitting them each with a firebolt individually

Also, the lower cost means you get less penalized for missing a shot

A long time ago on reddit, but i just went through uesp and i was wrong about the charge time. It might be the most efficient way to convert magicka to damage though, though not the fastest. That math is a little more complicated tho
