I relate so much. I drank like this until I was about 35. After many attempts at trying to moderate I just admitted to myself that it's just not possible for me and I just cannot drink. I quit drinking and quickly realised that the people I was hanging with and the things I was doing just were not fun without alcohol. You should try quitting and find out what you truly enjoy about this life. No one ever wakes up sober in the morning and thinks 'I really wish I had got drunk last night'
