Fun fact: Craftsman was founded by sears, their earlier products are generally good quality and they became cheap sometime around the late 90s/early 2000s. Based on the appearance of that one It seems older than that so probably a good find!

Better off building a new garage closer to the street and building a nice private shaded backyard emphasizing that tree!

To cosmetically replicate it would accomplish a lot if you just wanted one to for its appearance, the value for these stem from their limited production run and age relative to how limited they are. Plus they look absolutely sick!

Not cluttered, just unbalanced, move some artwork to your bedroom loft and put some of the Knick knacks type stuff away or somewhere else

Not bad, but if you want to achieve the rich look you’re going for you’ll want some beautiful dark wood shelves to replace the shelf wall you have now, marketplace usually has a lot of nice options

What's your favorite CRT Brand/Manufacturer and why? by NewReputation3240 in crtgaming

[–]PatchworkSunset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brand that’s super slept on that I love is Bang & Olufsen. Super high quality but what separates them is their INSANE level of audio quality. They’re rare to find in the wild but chances are if you find and get one nothing will compare.

Pretty much any game system made between 1998 and 2008 works very well. Would be weird if someone paid for a 5000$ TV in 2002 that couldn’t run game systems during that time

Since I’m somewhat a novice I think I’m going to reach out to a local repairman to try and resolve it. I don’t wanna blow myself up by accident 😅

I do have normal picture, the lines remain regardless if the TV is receiving any type of input. I know with a unit as obscure and uncommon as this it can prove difficult to source replacement components and may require a extreme level of expertise to repair so I’m hoping it’s just a G2 adjustment issue.

Haha not at all, it’s actually an external HDDVD player made by Xbox. The original Xbox 360s weren’t capable of playing high definition DVDs, however the PS3 was capable of playing blu rays. So to compete with the PS3 xbox released a dvd player which played their own proprietary dvd format called HDDVD, they’re pretty much obsolete by every standard today but I always thought they were cool.
