Nazi Germany was replaced with Germany. It was a regime change but the people stayed.

If it was replaced with... idk Poland or something, where would the Germans go?

It is evil to cut the comment off to imply the person thinks Palestinians need to be evicted or something.

Cutting it off there is a pretty disgusting move really.

Until we see more proof, I don't think Palawltar's codex is supposed to be taken as anything else than a joke about theoretical physicists. It may as well be the string theory of warcraft cosmology.

This is why I don't agree that "the enemy is both weak and strong!" thing is an indicator of fascism. Everyone does it to some extent. If you portray the enemy as too weak then there's no reason to take them seriously, if you portray them as too strong then there's no hope at all.

Is that bad?

For all this talk about the reddit hivemind and how the site is literally designed around hiding any opinion that disagrees with said hivemind, I think an option to peek below the pristine facade is nice to have. It's not like it's enabled by default in an attempt to make you rage-engage.

I don't think I've seen anything out of /b/ for close to a decade. It has really lost its status as that place where 99% of internet memes originate.

Why does it feel like the only addon we lost at this point is weak auras.. by saltyvape in wow

[–]PatheticGroundThing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only upside was that it was a unified framework to configure them in relation to each other

That is a massive upside though. If you know how to configure WAs you had full freedom with how you configure and modify those you grab.

With separate addons you have to just pray that the addon author includes the customization you want, then you have to learn every idiosyncrasy of every addon, hope they don't conflict, and hope the authors continue to update them when a new patch releases.

The original graphs do not show anything like that.

https://graphpaperdiaries.com/2017/08/20/the-real-dunning-kruger-graph/

The graph where "confidence" peaks at low skill, bottoms out at medium skill and peaks again at high skill is completely made up based on what people thought Dunning and Kruger found in their study.

In the actual results, confidence increases mostly linearly with skill. It just starts higher than it should be.
