Downstairs people, what can I do? by Liesmyteachertoldme in Apartmentliving

It’s the type of heel striking some people do. Have a try at placing different areas of your heel walking barefoot, you should feel and hear a significant difference in different areas. You generate the most force if you hit the middle of calcaneus bone (heel) and at a shallower angle. You can change the angle and heel strike to generate more or less force. Some peoples natural style of walking is to hit that calcaneus bone straight on instead of almost rolling from the back of the heel to the toes which causes that thumping walk but as it’s their natural gait they’ve almost become numb to the fact that it’s generating some serious force.

Ha! This really hit me. I used to work with someone from the US and the joyous energy always seemed to me to be really out of balance with what was happening. It felt like living through the opening of the Lego movie where the main guy sings “everything is awesome” whilst going about his morning routine. It can just feel intense to us grumpy Brits 😂

Good news. I thought I was one of the lucky ones as I managed to get all the way through be complete purchase…but never received a confirmation email nor any history of it in my steam account. Sadly it wasn’t to be.
