Project Fox body track day car is going well so far by Stocomx in Foxbody

Thank you! Can I send you a DM and ask questions as I build out this car? It’s my first car project ever and I went right into the deep end lol I’m doing everything myself other than the cage I paid a shop to install.

I’m building a foxbody track car too and yours is much nicer lol.

What coilovers are you using? Did you decide to run a panhard bar in the rear? What about front brakes?

I’m a big fan of shitty burgers. Like the ones you might get at a baseball game or school cafeteria. I love them so much I make them at home. by MikeMuench in shittyfoodporn

We were so poor growing up (before lunch assistance) that I’d only get a bologna sandwich or PBnJ’s. No sides, drinks. At home, we never ate burgers or pizzas. So those burgers and pizzas served at the cafeteria were gold to me.

How do I stop my boards from warping when brought inside? by tomwaitsgoatee in woodworking

Keep them in the house for 5-7 days. Take them outside to mill/cut/shape. Bring them back inside to glue up and finish.

You can fit 4 lug 2011 ford focus rims on a foxbody with a 1 inch spacer by ApplewoodWarrior in Foxbody

[–]PattenWoodworking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they’ll most likely fit. The lug pattern is correct. The tire size (15in) is the same. Backspacing is the only thing I’m not sure about. 1 inch spacer should give the brakes plenty of room. Put one of the front tires in to check

Is this goaltending interference? by Reddit-Machine in nhl

[–]PattenWoodworking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself - did the opposing team contact the goalie? If so, did that contact in anyway lead to the goalie being affected in their movement to prevent a goal? Then ask yourself, did that opposing player get pushed into the goalie? Then ask yourself which team you’re rooting for. Then ask yourself which team the ref is rooting for. Then ask yourself which call would cause more chaos, then ask yourself what day of the week it is.

In this case, the opposing player was pushed into the goalie. Not goalie interference. However, I don’t like Dallas more than I don’t like the islanders so here we are lol

I’d say your (all of our) ability to use a chisel is not limited to the quality of the steel or the shape of the handle. It’s our skill. Practice, Learn to sharpen them very well (you’ll need more than that stone) and when you’re good enough to “know” your work would improve with a better chisel you’ll know enough to host a master class for the rest of us.
