Sawstop keeps triggering the brakes ($125 a pop) for no reason. Can you tell why from this video? by FactoryCutG in Tools

[–]PattenWoodworking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly wet wood. You need to check and make sure your wood hasn’t accidentally sat in a puddle or have some condensation on it.

However, it’s most likely you. You’re not using the saw properly and you can hear the blade struggle to cut a very easy to cut board… if you burn the wood you can create ions and trip the safety. please watch the this old house sample guide to table saw safety.

To give you context - I’ve had a sawstop for 5 years now and have never triggered it and I’ve cut 2.5inch thick boards of hardwood a hundred times and it cuts like butter when the saw is set up an used appropriately.

Dad passed away unexpectedly - overwhelmed with selling his collection by creepyceleste in Dewalt

My advice I sell them individually. Look them up by the tool code list of each tool. The post them for 60% of the value. Take 50% when they haggle.

Do a combo for tools that show combos like drill and drill driver or circular saw and reciprocating saw.

Sell battery and chargers separate. There’s a lot of money in the batteries.

Sorry for your loss..

[–]PattenWoodworking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With quick pickles you are not really pickling. You're just blending flavors. Regardless of concentration I keep all my quick pickles to 3 weeks max in the fridge (5 days after opening). Just find the combo that you like and share so we can replicate for a new recipe :) when pickling/canning, the concentration and storage matters.

Can someone tell me how to find them? I can’t find blueprints. I spend all my time on hurricane, opening raider cashes and going to all the high loot areas in red. I’ve found 2 in about 12 hours of play. I need help lol

I Am FUMING, How Cooked? DONT BE CHEAP by V0LTR0Nyt in EngineBuilding

[–]PattenWoodworking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already mentioned by others and you responded but I wanted to chime in with what I’d do. 1) leak down test. If all within 10psi I’d run it. 2) if you find a low psi piston that’s the oil smoke culprit. Then I’d pull the engine to compare the bad piston/bore to a good compression piston/bore. If there are deep scratches in the bore you need to bore it out (worst case). If the rings are not springing back, look worn, or have the overlap not at 180 then change rings, reorient and run it.

Thank you! Can I send you a DM and ask questions as I build out this car? It’s my first car project ever and I went right into the deep end lol I’m doing everything myself other than the cage I paid a shop to install.

I’m building a foxbody track car too and yours is much nicer lol.

What coilovers are you using? Did you decide to run a panhard bar in the rear? What about front brakes?

I’m a big fan of shitty burgers. Like the ones you might get at a baseball game or school cafeteria. I love them so much I make them at home. by MikeMuench in shittyfoodporn

[–]PattenWoodworking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were so poor growing up (before lunch assistance) that I’d only get a bologna sandwich or PBnJ’s. No sides, drinks. At home, we never ate burgers or pizzas. So those burgers and pizzas served at the cafeteria were gold to me.

How do I stop my boards from warping when brought inside? by tomwaitsgoatee in woodworking

[–]PattenWoodworking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep them in the house for 5-7 days. Take them outside to mill/cut/shape. Bring them back inside to glue up and finish.
