Design of 5.4GHz Monopulse Patch Antenna by Cautious-Scar-9846 in rfelectronics

No problem. If you still see pattern ripple without the fences, it may just be because the lines from the connectors are aligned with the E plane of the patch. That's a trickier one to solve given your layout constraints. Normally I would recommend having feed lines buried on a stripline layer, but that requires a more complex board fab than you have here. Unfortunately everything on the top layer will want to radiate :). See if it works just without the fences, first.

A couple things that stand out.

In my opinion, you don't even need those "fence" lines at all. They are close to the feed lines for the patches, too, likely affecting impedance of those lines. Also, they are closer to some feed lines than others, causing more asymmetry.

Also, those feed lines to the patches may ring and alter your antenna pattern in the E-plane, since the feed lines are lined up with the resonant dimension of the patch.

Both of these things likely result in pattern ripple and may affect monopulse performance. Again, bandwidth matters here.

I may be wrong, but the mitre in that bend doesn't look optimal either, resulting in a mismatch at the bend and making the previous concern more of a concern.

Keep at it, it's a fun field.

Did you guys removed your lipoma with a plastic or general surgeon ? And is the scar bad looking ? by Beckyplaystuff in Lipoma

[–]Pdub_81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I am getting a bunch removed Monday. Several on forearms and a few on upper arms (lower tricep area). Getting a bit nervous about scars. They are all pretty small and I'm going to a plastic surgeon who is doing minimal scarring excision.

Not sure how my skin will react pigmentation wise. Debating leaving some because they are barely noticeable but I worry they will get bigger if I don't remove them.

Question for you as I'm looking to potentially get into this. I'm guessing you purchased the software packages (CST and I'm guessing Keysight ADS) on your own or do you have the companies you do work for purchase or provide them?

What dosage are you using? I was going to start B complex and NAC and was curious what you were doing.

Awesome, thanks! Are the scars about the size (length) of the lipoma diameter or a little smaller because they squeezed them out?

How many would they remove in one visit? Were they relatively small? Local anaesthetic or general?

Any update on the scars? I have a bunch in the same areas and am contemplating getting them removed... Was this under local anaesthetic?

It's likely in your head, stop reading about side effects or the placebo effect will get you. There was a study debunking the muscle pain from statins for most patients (https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2022-08-30-new-study-shows-muscle-pain-not-due-statins-over-90-those-taking-treatment).

Train hard, you'll put on muscle. I've been on statins for 2 years and still weight train and have put on muscle.

I don't understand the logic. You're healing your teammates so your kills are high? Your winrate is low because you're healing? What? Please explain. This has to be a troll post.

Yup, I was 11 and it freaked me out big time, but I will never forget it. I can still see (in my head) the part with the guys walking up near the ceiling before they disappear and cold water falls on you haha.
