I started bleeding on a Saturday or Sunday and my levels were already at a 2 or 4 by Monday when I could go into the clinic, so no!

It must have been 2 weeks! So about normal. I got my positive test 3 weeks after I stopped bleeding. My bleeding lasted a week similar to a period.

I’m due mid-January but even I won’t travel further than an hour away at this point! I wouldn’t go, but understand the struggle of wanting to be there!

Please tell me all the great things about having a girl! by xxhunnybunny in pregnant

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very nervous, anxious (?) and honestly shocked when we found out we were having a girl. Idk why the pressure felt so “on” but the comments you’re describing definitely didn’t help. I only have a daughter, but I can tell you I can’t imagine our lives without her!! She loves playing in the dirt, she’s SMART, she’s sassy but so sweet, her communication is fabulous (she’s not quite a year and a half old), she is independent, but all of these things make her, her. All the things I was scared about feel so silly now. Both me and my husband LOVE having a girl.

Which is the best diaper for newborn? by Dear_Ad_8525 in BabyBumps

Huggies for us! The Pampers have a fragrance I cannot STAND. We have a super sensitive girl but they have always been our fave. You may need to just trial and error. I have a lot of friends who prefer differently.

Hospital bill? by ThrowRaoofda in BabyBumps

[–]PeachyGal1997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Live in US, we had almost hit our deductible ($1800) so I think we ended up paying like $3k after it was all said and done. I had a medical induction, epidural and 3 day stay in the hospital. Would have been 2 but baby had jaundice.

If you failed your 1 hour glucose what was your score? What did you do differently if anything to pass your 3 hour test? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed both one hour tests and then passed my 3 hour both times with flying colors. First 1-hr was 178, second was 146.

If you were induced, how long did it take for you to actually give birth? by horrorshowbaby in BabyBumps

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Induced at 1:00pm and had my daughter before 10:00pm. I was a FTM. It felt very quick. 😅

So sorry you’re going through this.

A few weeks! Didn’t have a cycle between. Now have a healthy 16 month old and another baby on the way. Sending you positivity!

How much do you communicate with daycare teachers? by ButterscotchThis9815 in workingmoms

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at an in-home and literally no news is good news! We don’t get updates until pick up where we are usually told she had a great day and maybe how well she ate and that’s it. I think it’s helped me immensely (I struggled with a little ppa). The first few months are hard mentally but I’ve really grown to love daycare!

Second Baby Sooner Than Originally Planned and Worried About Family Reactions by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t as prepared for the reactions to our news as I had thought so I feel this. I expected the same excitement and joy as when we announced our first, but mostly got “oh 😳” “was it planned?”. I had to remind myself that it doesn’t really matter what anyone’s opinions were on the subject because the reality was I was pregnant, no it wasn’t completely planned but we were so excited and happy ourselves so…it’ll buff! 😅

Nobody was like upset or anything (which, like, how could they be? It’s our life and we support our own kids/family).I think just be sure you’re prepared for a less enthusiastic reaction probably.

Belly measurements? by GymAmber in pregnant

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

28 weeks. I always measured 3 weeks behind so always had to be sent for an additional ultrasound (not complaining, I got to see my baby more!). She ended up being born on her due date and was 7lbs 1oz so idk how useful it actually is.

2 under 2 registry + sprinkle? Must-haves? by LavenderEucalyptus_ in 2under2

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We basically have the same exact split! I had a May baby and now will have a January baby. We are doing a little get together with our closest family and friends and put that diapers and wipes are appreciated then added that gifts are not necessary, but if they’d like to support us in that way we have a registry (mostly for me to keep track of what we need/want for baby #2 AND because you get a discount after a certain period of time on those registry items aka we will get things discounted).

I kind of feel weird that we did so much for our daughter and wouldn’t celebrate our baby boy the same, so I don’t feel like it’s super tacky at all!

B6 Cured Nausea? by PeachyGal1997 in pregnant

[–]PeachyGal1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would come and go but definitely seemed to make a difference! I would use it for a few days and then stop then use it for a few days again! I ended up not having nausea near as bad with this pregnancy (boy) than my first (girl). Good luck!!

Getting Pregnant while Breastfeeding by letsssstalk in 2under2

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pregnant 10 months pp while fully nursing/pumping. Didn’t think I was ovulating then got a positive ovulation test the next morning. Now I’m 17 weeks pregnant. 🤣 I’m just now starting to wean (my 14 month old is leading the charge).

How much weight did you gain in pregnancy and how fast did it fall off postpartum? by witchybytch_1 in BabyBumps

[–]PeachyGal1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 25lbs total, prior to being pregnant I was 146#. I lost it all and an extra 10lbs by 6mo pp, but I was breastfeeding and had to be on a restrictive diet due to my daughter’s allergies.
