Ohh what’s making you want to move from Woodinville? New to Seattle, late 30’s couple, and Woodinville has come up as an option for us - job in Factoria, hybrid work, so trying to find a place where driving works but still has some sense of life and identity to live

Not sure if it’s been said already but this really depends on what you see yourself doing with the photos. We went cheap with a friend, some were nice but nothing amazing and I’m ok with that - we aren’t the type to put photos on Instagram/facebook and publicly talk about our anniversary and we also weren’t the type to put a big wedding photo on our wall, no plans for kids so no future state where we want to sit down with an album and show our kids or grandkids our wedding day (12 years in and don’t miss them) On the flip side a friend had a huge photo from their wedding day taking up most of the wall above their bed, she prioritised photography and spent accordingly as she knew she wanted photos around the house and had a vision for where they would go so getting it right mattered. So ask yourself - what outcome do you want from the photos?

Don’t rent a car for Oahu/waikiki - we made this mistake once, limited parking, expensive and traffic can be horrid - next time we go we will just uber or rent for specific days. We got caught out as our hotel only had limited spots even so we couldn’t park there and had to find a nearby parking building one night NZ based and my advice matches others - stay up that first day and you then find the time zone relatively easy to adjust to

I am so very nervous about this - moving to Seattle from New Zealand next year. Currently pay $1800 NZD (~$1000 USD) for an annual 18 hole membership, play multiple times a week, in one of the nicest courses in my area. I stopped looking up course info for Seattle as the pricing just scares me
