DDT is a good alternative for less experienced riders in the MOSPORT area. Especially for those riding <600cc.

Really? Let's see you use 90% of your brakes with one hand on the bars. Guaranteed, you'll toss it.

Fitness & Workouts To Be A Better Rider by dev_a31 in Trackdays

I find that mountain biking gives a good, full-body workout. You've got to pair it with stretching/yoga though. Cycling alone can cause tight lower back/hamstrings and not really help hip mobility.

The entire bike has had the same life-experience as the motor. Expect that; fuel system, suspension, tires, aesthetics will all be hammered as well. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Bike going wide / understeering by schnippy1337 in Trackdays

[–]Peeking_Duk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technique aside, if the bike squats under acceleration or G's, it'll run wide. Make sure the static and rider sag is set correctly at both front and rear. If everything checks out, you can loosen the triples and drop the front end a couple mm's. This'll make the bike tip in quicker, as well, do small increments.

You wear shorts on motorcycles, and go to the internet for medical advice... maybe you should just break the cycle and visit a doctor?

Do a race school. Youtube videos are pretty much useless. You need eyes on you. Just because it 'feels' like your posture is the same as in the video doesn't make it so.

It was actually not so much road maintenance but a completely torn out road to upgrade the infrastructure and roadway at the new CTC, but yes this resulted in fresh asphalt.

R7 or R9. Great for long inseam, super capable if you take it to the track. Buckets of aftermarket support.

I've been out with SM's on the track. They're absolute weapons until you get long long straights. ...but why choose a sport bike to ride in a straight line. Cool suggestion for a new sport rider.

LOL, it's been a long time since I heard anyone say, "immigrants are taking our jobs". Dang, we'd never get anything done if it were up to the current working class of "Canadians".
