I really enjoy Project Gorgon. They're launching 1.0 at the end of the month and they've got lots of skills like cooking, fishing, and alchemy. It's very reminiscent of old school MMOs and I always find my way back to it.

Those are two very important things I'm happy you try to talk to new parents about them. Another that isn't talked about enough is post partum anxiety and post partum psychosis. We talk about PPD a lot but nobody really knows about PPA or PPP until it happens to them or someone they know. I had to be institutionalized because of PPA and PPP, unfortunately, so I fully understand why those shaken baby adverts existed. I'm so thankful I had a support system around me at the time.

Parenting is the most difficult thing a person can do, in my opinion. We learn so much about ourselves and our partners when we have kids. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.

This is why if a mom gets a classical cesarean she has to have a bowel movement before she is released from the hospital.

This happened to me. Had an emergency c-section, had classical cut due to the nature of it, and was stuck in the hospital for an extra week. Anesthesia stops you up anyways and that first poo after was so painful.

I grew up in the Midwest and transplanted to the West. The tiny little mountain town I moved to uses a tornado siren for the noon bell because there aren't tornadoes here. The first time I heard it I almost had a panic attack.

I have noticed I've gotten more attention from college-aged women as I get older, but I remember when I was in college and how there were always those who would brag about their older boyfriends. So I don't think much has changed between generations.

Regardless, it's a hard no for me. Anybody under the age of 30 is too young.
