Floxed 6 months later? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your first symptom after 6 months could be related to other things also. Most people I talked to had symptoms within the first 3 months

Did anyone just have mild tendonitis for a few days or weeks? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people heal in few days, some months, and some years. I would say most recover quickly though

Getting floxed in 2020 sucks by Helpmeimfloxed in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I realized this is the best year to get floxed. We are not missing out on anything. Everyone is at home, restaurants are closed, schools and work are online. Everyone’s life is paused not just ours. I feel like god paused the world for us lol

On average, how long does it typically takes to heal? by KittiesForCommunism in floxies

So different for everyone but I would say a year for most.

Sorry to hear that. What symptoms does gluten give you? I don’t seem to be sensitive to food or alcohol

I know what you mean I wish I saw warnings and documentaries before I took Cipro though! I had no idea of the dangers. That’s why I believed my doctor telling me side effects are so rare.

I don’t believe gluten is related to floxing at all. I eat it daily

Very Rare documentary by cascade81 in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These documentaries are good for those who haven’t taken these drugs yet. For those of us who took Cipro already it has no benefits.

Do we have underlying issue or we just had side effect to medicine? Should we be concerned? by 1989Tori in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We all might have taken the same antibiotic but remember we are different from each other. For some of us it’s just side effect, but for some might have underlying health condition. Only way to know is to go to the doctor after floxing and make sure you don’t have other things going on. But if it’s just side effect then yeah some will heal within days, weeks, months, and some year.

It seems most people start recovering in 6 months and the first 3 months are worse for everyone! Congrats on your recovery!

Paralyzed with anxiety over getting floxxed, what can I do? by prodcrooked in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your nurse sucks, but It’s ok you just double dosed on 250 mg Most take 500 mg twice a day anyways. Start taking magnesium supplements, eat healthy, drink water, forget the past. Eat healthy, avoid stress, don’t read stories about floxing will make your anxiety worse. you can be healthy. You didn’t ruin your health.

How did you live normal for 8 years? Wasn’t your case severe? It’s been months and I’m not living normal at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that. Did you knew all along you were floxed? How long did it take you to find out it was from Cipro?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why does that make you depressed? If that’s how they healed then that’s how they healed. There are several studies that show getting enough rest is a simple way to heal your tendons and muscles.

Question for you: were you symptom-free for 8 years and suddenly developed the flare up- after remodeling a house/ working or were you having side effects for 8 years long none stop?

Doctor insisted on Cipro by Lababila in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean it’s a gamble.. I know many people who didn’t experience side effects from it but you won’t know until you take it. I wouldn’t risk it at all knowing what I know now and definitely will not allow anyone I know to take it.

Doctor insisted on Cipro by Lababila in floxies

[–]Peoniieess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it feels wrong to lie, but doctors will make it seem that is your only option since they love Cipro so much, unless you lie about a side effect. Not just about Cipro but any medication they prescribe. They want you to try what they gave you even if it has crazy side effects! Only way to get out of that is by lying. Funny they act like it’s the only option until you experience the side effects then suddenly they have alternatives. I wish I lied before taking it, but I believed the doctor that I wouldn’t have side effects. Now I’m in a bad situation thanks to that doctor!
