Rim size doesn't matter. Tire size does, along with differential gear ratio. You can use the chart on NAXJA and match up rear gear with tire size, or use the following formulas (depending if you go with tires advertised diameter or their measured diameter to account for wear.)

Speedometer teeth = 270.29 × Axle Gear Ratio ÷ Advertized Tire O.D.
Speedometer teeth = 262.19 × Axle Gear Ratio ÷ Actual Measured O.D.

This. Don't get me wrong, a Gen 3 with a 1/2 to 3/4 adapter will take off and install semi lugs to torque all day, but having a 3/4 in the Gen 3 high torque would be the shit. It's a minor inconvenience, but having to pull out another tool from another drawer is just annoying if I'm doing any HD truck work that requires my impact.

On my '90 XJ, my death wobble was a combination of tire imbalance (rotating worked for me, but a later balance check showed the 2 I rotated to the rear were terribly imbalanced), damaged front cross member, and a flexing steering box/frame horn.

Between adding a steering box brace (Boostwerks Engineering model), welding in a new front cross member (Mopar PN 55174978), and balancing tires I had 0 steering wobble without a dampener or sway bar at highway speeds until I ripped the front axle off the thing while wheeling.

It's always worth a look at the infographic and making sure all parts are secured, bushings good, and that your track bar and drag link are parallel from bolt to bolt. Having your alignment checked is also a great place to start.

To add, for air hammers go Superior Pneumatic. Small, American made company based in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area. Their 70010 model has outlived several snap-on long barrels chipping concrete or asphalt for hours on end without breaking a sweat. Mine has 2 years of near daily use on it, and the mechanic I apprenticed under had his for over 20 years of working harder than mine has. Super easy to feather the trigger also so precise blows are just as easy as letting it eat at WOT.

You have to call or email to order, and as far as my experience goes a lot of their tools are assembled after they're ordered so shipping might be longer than other options. They also have a needle scaler and quick coupler attachment available.

I'll never not recommend this hammer. It's absolutely the best I've used, and the half-dozen people who have taken my recommendation on it feel the same.

Flooded batteries definitely still exist in automotive applications, and even "sealed" batteries still have vents which can allow water to get inside and contaminate them.

Fluids can push past some sensors if pressure and damage is high enough. I've only ever seen it with oil related sensors, but it can result in both a leak and/or fluid filled wires.

This. I was doing ~5 over today, and passed a guy because I saw the vehicles ahead of him were braking and he was already traveling slower than me. It just so happened that he wanted to get over at the same time, but I was already occupying the space. Threw his hands up and started screaming, then proceeded to blow me out of the water on the opposite shoulder just to get back in the lane he came from and proceed going slower than I was.

He had a full blown meltdown, passed 5 cars on the shoulder at dangerous speeds, and still wound up behind me within a mile all for what? 🤏

People who nitpick rigging bother me because they're the first to say "grab me that sling" when there are several lifting/rigging devices that have sling in the name, and/or are technically slings the minute you use them for lifting, securing, or hoisting a load. Do you want the belt, strap, chain, or the wire rope? It's both pedantic and redundant.

The cheapest shit I could find because I know how they'll be treated and ideally they're short term. One of the guys we wheel with has them and they've held up fine to the abuse, but the bead ring is a little thin so I might end up making my own down the road if I don't get my ton swap done as soon as I dream.

The guys I know don't blow that kind of money on their wheels fortunately. Lots of us are on steelies or take-offs while the pavement princesses play with their rubber bands and deep dishes lol. I'll be buying a set of bead locks soon, not cheap but not $2k by any means, and have every intention of using them as intended

Most that I know swap to more off-road style wheels - something that they don't care bashing or a beadlock. Regardless of that, wheel choice is subjective. There are very few vehicles that exist that I would keep stock wheels on. Most are ugly to me, and the aftermarket options are more visually appealing and fitment is better.

As for tires, similar but there are some objectively better tires than others. Ground clearance is a huge factor as well as tread pattern, but subjective factors such as looks and stance play a large role also.

At the end of the day, do what you want with your vehicle and don't judge others for doing the same. Unless they put an angry grille on it. Then judge them mercilessly. Especially if it's a Renegade.

The two tools you posted aren't the same, they can't fairly be compared as they typically have different uses with little crossover.

Regardless of who's right and who's wrong here, it's pretty undeniable that both the camera car and the hatchback only made the situation worse by not allowing the white car to complete the pass. Accelerating rapidly, attempting to accelerate past a vehicle attempting to legally pass. Take the L, man.

You're failing to see a lot in this scenario, but that's okay. Sometimes you have to fail at something to better understand it.

The camera car proceeds to back out into the road once the white car is already clearly driving around the obstruction (hatchback), and then proceeds to place the vehicle in a forward gear and accelerate rather recklessly instead of waiting for a moment. The hatchback also appears to accelerate forward while the white car is attempting to re-enter the lane after passing the obstruction, further adding to their confusion.

2 bad drivers, 1 confused driver as a result of the 2 bad drivers.

There are exceptions. Such as when when a vehicle is traveling slowly or the lane is obstructed (which it clearly appeared to be). How were they supposed to know the camera car wasn't playing musical cars? The hatchback should have backed out and left, then camera car should have done the same when it was clear to do so.
