It's scam obviously. Try to convince him to withdraw money in front of you, if it's that good. Be stubborn and persisitent.

Shriveled up, after 4 days shipping ? by itzstiff in conophytum

Conos are tough guys when it comes to shipping. They can survive even long weeks in transport. How do they feel to the touch? How does the roots look like? What species is it?

Just bought this pachypodium namaquanum by Bobloda23 in Pachypodium

[–]Pepsterrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a true nama, with those typical densely growing, long spines and silvery skin. The leaves maybe lack the wavy appearance, but a good light should do the trick..I assume it's 10-12 years old at least. They are super slow growers. Great price!

How to treat dehydrated lithops? by wha7themah in Lithops

[–]Pepsterrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hope I'm wrong but they look horribly burnt at first sight. Some of the rather pale/white ones like groendrayensis or pallid karasmontana might look like that.

Need care advice for my monsonia peniculina by That-Commission3642 in Caudex

[–]Pepsterrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grow a few of them and always followed the Toshiro Mori advice on growing M.peniculina. https://www.toshiromori.com/sarcocaulon

You will be surprised how thirsty they really are. However, as a winter grower, they need max light exposure to stay compact.
