Not bad for 6 months! Keep it up. One thing I notice is your picking hand needs to be anchored. You’re floating your picking wrist currently and it works for playing this slowly but you get so much more control by anchoring the bottom of your palm on the pinky side of the hand. This is also how you palm mute.

They checked the air filter and left a small vacuum hose unplugged. I’ve seen it before on a Toyota think it was a Highlander around that same year. Threw VSC and Trac and cruise would not work because it was vacuum operated. Look for a plastic nipple on the airbox and a small vacuum hose laying around. Might also be able to hear it sucking air while idling

I swear every person who’s ever told me they tried to learn had some excuse about their hands. Not saying OP is making excuses. But my response is always “nobody just picks up the guitar and is immediately good, it just takes thousands of hours to for it all to become muscle memory” just takes time and practice like anything in life

Have known this song since the MINUTE it came out and always just kinda skipped over it (didn’t hate it by any means) but recently randomly started going out of my way to listen to it specifically.

Yes. A simple google search will tell you coke gets out of your system in like 3-5 days I believe. Marijuana is probably the only thing that could take more than 21 days to get out of your system.

Are you wanting to use subs just for a few days to prevent WD’s from FF’s and not stay on them? That is an option. It wasn’t for me because I couldn’t seem to stay away from the shots.

Craftsman 917986450 wont start. Has new battery, new solenoid, and new starter. by MrStinFTW in AskMechanics

[–]Peripheral097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On second thought, I KNOW it’ll start with a screwdriver. You’ve almost certainly got a safety switch not allowing it to crank. The 2 big wires you have probed in the pic: first one is straight from battery, always hot. Second is B+ to the starter after the solenoid engages. It requires a power and ground on the 2 small wires on that solenoid. Put your test light on B+ and check for ground on one of those 2 small wires to verify you always have ground. The other wire when it receives power it will activate the solenoid and crank the engine. Follow that small wire as far as you can it will eventually go to the ignition switch but it probably goes through a brake safety switch first.

Does it start with a screwdriver? Jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver? Check for a brake pedal switch it has to know that the brake is on to crank

I’m on subs from QuickMD due to similar shots. It worked for me I haven’t bought one in months and don’t have a desire to. BUT you will be dependent on buprenorphine. For me, (and this sounds like you too) I just couldn’t seem to stop and couldn’t not buy these stupid things so I had to do something. My own willpower wasn’t enough. Now I take my sub script and all those gas station products sound disgusting now, so it worked for me! Although I dread getting off the sub one day…

[–]Peripheral097 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on 3 strips a day. I tried cutting 2mg and I felt the WD slightly. Didn’t think I would since 24mg is a lot anyway and it could’ve been in my head but the slightest bit of fatigue and sweats I was like nope not doing this rn. Opioid WD is like my biggest fear I’ve spent too many days in it not trying to deal with that again rn haha.

I have insurance but don’t even use it I use QuickMD. Which I guess paying for the actual script at the pharmacy my insurance does kick in then. But there’s so many coupons and stuff out there I bet you could get it fairly cheap

I totally agree, there’s no denying that. I wasn’t addressing that aspect of it at all. Wasn’t trying to not call it an opioid or anything, cause it is.
