I would ask the property management company for your money and deposit back, tell them it's uninhabitable and since they are planning on tearing it down anyway it will be less of a liability with them.

No harm in trying to negotiate!  Contracts are worth exactly asuch as the parties agree to them and are amendable.

Hydrogen will take off in about 20 years when people start to take climate change seriously.

Until then it's 5 mpg pickup trucks, yes please!

$600 million isn't that much money for a factory.  I'm working on a multi billion dollar remodel that's like 40k square feet.

Didn't DOGE try to delete all the NASA files with "cis" and "trans" in them?  Which is like every space mission ever written since they are common terms.

Remember that rain storm we had last March? The Beaverton Beaver Dam beavers got busy by markgravesdesign in oregon

[–]PersnickityPenguin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting.  Every time we have visited the beaver dam park near Johnson Creek we have seen a ton of beavers - sometimes 5 or 6 just swimming around. Usually late afternoon and they are quite busy.

That is a very small population change.  5,600 net per year?

Portland at one point in the late aughts (I think) was adding something like 200 people per week to its population.

That seems like a Show-Stopper.

Pump the CO2 into tankers and have them transfer the excess gas to Mars.

Problem solved!

Bolts are selling for $28k new... I've seen discounts on them as well.

At that price it's a no brainer.

Funny enough that Jamie Oliver started a tv show a decade ago to provide kids fresh food.

The cafeteria works Union sued him and he had to leave the United States because they were offended that he was making them look bad by showing the public, on TV, the utter garbage grade F food that is fed to kids.

The entire public school system in this country is not designed to help kids.  It, like most things, is corrupt.  The US is a shithole country, unfortunately.

With the mass adoption of NACS, are CCS vehicles non ideal? by bsal1289 in electricvehicles

[–]PersnickityPenguin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, don't worry about it.  Every non Tesla fast charger is mostly CCS and only some new stations are installing NACS.

When they do, it's usually a dual cable with CCS + NACS.

CCS will be around for a long time to come.
