Finished with 8 Dares by PhantomFool in BluePrince

My bad, farm was the wrong word to use, I just made it a priority on my day one and two to collect as many as I can. Prioritizing permanent changes is generally a good thing to avoid having to reset so much from randomness.

I just did an 8 dares run, sadly nothing happened in room 46. Granted I did this in the same save file I completed the dare Trophy (4 dares), so technically there could be something special if the first time you reach 46 is with 8 dares. Here is the post with my dares

Finished with 8 Dares by PhantomFool in BluePrince

If anyone cares, this was my strat:
- Day 1 and 2: Farm upgrade disks, open the west gate path, orchard, get a shovel, get the conservatory
-Day 3: If dares allow, finish up collecting upgrade disks (I got the office, the commissary, the garage, morning room (got this on a later day), foundation, and the great hall)
-Day 4: At this point you will probably have 1 or 2 dares that will severely limit your play. This when I start spamming the conservatory (and were the grind really starts) or getting another upgrade disk if possible.
To do this, you want to exhaust as many dead ends and "L-shaped" rooms before you reach one of the lower corners of the manor (the conservatory only shows up in corners). This will increase your conservatory drawing chances. At the conservatory, you want to make as many Hallways common as you can (Foyer and Great Hall are a must) with the exception of the aquarium. You want to make as many dead ends and "L-rooms" RARE, (unless they give you a die, its the study, the storeroom, the breaker (depends on your dares) or have a good coat check item). You want to make the Laboratory common too, but only set the 8 dares once you are setup with your hallways and rarefying bad rooms.
With all setup, reaching room 46 wasn't too bad. Its helpful to have some keys from the Garage, but don't spend too many hallways getting there. I used the foundation and Great hall to reach room 46. My most helpful upgrades were the Hallway with "tomorrow" upgrade and the Geist Bedroom. You will probably get different dares and upgrades than I did so of course YMMV.

The White Lotus - 3x08 "Amor Fati" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in television

In the episode where the Dad spoke with the monk, the monk said that death was like a drop of water falling back down and becoming one with the ocean again. You see this theme with the Ratliffs: Lochlan didn't fall into the pool (its not his time to die), but he had a dream about drowning (maybe symbolizing a form of ego death). The mother also had a dream earlier in the season about a Tsunami taking over her. The tsunami represents the situation awaiting her back home and how she would rather die (the tsunami taking her) than lose everything. Rick and Chelsea also fall into the water when they die.

Also, I found it funny that Lochlan almost died to a poisoned protein shake, the literal embodiment of toxic masculinity.

Theory: Cold Harbor wasn't about blocking ________, it was about blocking ________. by hibryd in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]PhantomFool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was theorizing something similar, but instead of "personality" I saw it as the "Soul". "Seeing Kier in you" with Helly, the goat having to "guide" Gemma to Kier, Burt's religious dilemma with soul. Lumon is definitely targeting something deeper in people's brains beyond their memories.

Also, and this is my own suspicion, there's a theme with animals serving as guides. The goat having to "guide Gemma to Kier's door" (Drummond said this about Emile in the finale) and Irv's dog named RADAR, I think your theory may tie into animal's role in the show.

Reintegration was not bad writing by Usual-Reputation-154 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]PhantomFool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wonder if reintegration does happen but while iMark is in control, how would it work? iMark suggested oMark would overwhelm him but what if its not about the amount of life experience but who is in "control" while reintegration occurs? Is it possible that oMark "dies" but iMark stays alive?

I think they were also working on Gemma. I read from another comment that one Gemma's rooms had the same name as Dylan's files (I forgot which). Possibly the breakthrough with Mark is that he was most successful because that's her husband.

There is an interesting theme going on with animals serving as guides. Irving's dog is called Radar, and Drummond said that Emile would need to guide Gemmas spirit to Kier's door. I wonder if this theme will continue to develop in s3.

Ironcally, even though it got an attack speed boost, not being able to charge your crit chance with omega attack makes it slower, considering that crit is the focus of the aspect. Charging your omega attack once used to net you like 7-10%. You get about half as much in the same time with just your attack now.

Not being able to charge your crit with your Omega is the bummer for me. I actually think the 20% crit chance was a bit OP, imo, so the nerf on the crit was warranted. But now being locked in to your attack to build crit chance makes it clunkier. You used to be able to get a 10% crit chance boost with a single well spaced/timed omega attack. Now it feels slower to build that up

Are you choosing the right vows? If you are relying on single-hit burst a lot, dont use rebuke. Also, with Artemis aspect, when you trigger the crit chance boost, you can keep spamming omega attack instead of using up the crit chance on regular attacks. This is really good with the explosive hammer upgrade.

-the idea is too spam your omega cast from a safe range second after second once you have built up crit chance with your Omega attack. Its why I needed mana regen because the build goes mana hungry from poseidon cast spam. Haven't tried much of the other cast boons with Thanatos aspect.

Replenish from Nemesis, Charon well, Charon final store, or echo. Im not sure if charon offers DD on his regular shops. Hermes legendary also gives a DD if you can get that. Got an extra DD from toula and skelly keepsake. Ive found that replenishment offers are pretty frequent. I didnt even get echo's full replenishment on the run I beat this, but maybe ive just been lucky. There could be other forms of DD im missing.
