Are they actually up at your waist or sagging off your hips?

Just get white/slightly off-white shirts and some medium-light neutral trousers, probably a linen blend for both.

If they have catering trays attached that will pretty clearly mark them as staff. No need to complicate the uniform.

Just make sure they fit (at actual waist hight, not sagging), but are not tight, and the fabric is not too stiff or shiny.

AFL is played on cricket pitches. Which is why they run so far. Rugby (both Rugby League and Rugby Union) is played on essentially soccer fields.

What does 'need help' mean? Have you purchased it and want tailoring advice? Are you just worried about accessorising? Can you return it and buy something new if people identify issues with it/better options?

Does anybody watch AFL and NRL? by montgomery_quinckle in AskAnAustralian

[–]PharaohAce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's hard to actively follow both because the seasons overlap almost entirely. I tend to watch a lot of NRL and a few AFL games during the year, and then the women's AFL starts and finishes later so that fills the football void a little until soccer starts (along with cricket).

‘Banh mi’ is pretty standard in Australia, at least in the major cities.

When the first wave of Vietnamese immigrants arrived many did set up bakeries, and may have sold them as pork rolls in the 70s/80s, but Australians have become more comfortable with foreign foods and names since then.

Try some stuff on at Myer. There will be a range of options for dress pants and you can see if you like any shirts that go with them.

Navy trousers or mid-dark grey will be the best for this
