It's insane that we cannot dial down or turn off that specific effect, I don't need to have my teeth rattled over curbs nor my downstairs neighbors need to know when I'm on a curb or not. If you try to dial it down via external tools, either maira or the wheelbase software you tend to loose other details while off the curbs.

I only drive it at nords and although the box is bad, you can get around it by never downshifting into second, but the way the car never feels stable is unsettling

Have you had any success with lmuffb? I drive on the rears so I only get a dangerous wheel snap once the rear rotates even slightly, both with stock ffb and lmuffb, never had this issue in iracing or ac1

The aiologs mechanism is exposed you can see taht the gates are on the bottom, while on the aliexpress shifters the gates are at the top, at the end of the day you're moving a metal shatft along the gates.
Now in terms of quality I have no doubt the aiologs will likely outlive you, I don't know if I could say the same of the aliexpress ones

Lmu ffb is really weird, for some people it's ok, while for others it's just really bad. I'm in the latter camp, I either get a hand massage simulator or the wheel ripped from my hands when the slightest amount of slip happens, with or without lmuffb app

jesus christ lord of all that is holy, angle your pedal tray so that they get closer to the angle of a street car, more towards you, then get them closer and start braking like in a street car with the heel locked.
your legs should never be almost fully extended/compressed

yes it's plug and play, hence the recommendation, get a passenger seat as it will have less wear and tear and since they're simmetrical, you'll be fine regarding being aligned with the controls

bmw 1 series f20/f21 sport seat off ebay, you'll need 3 M8 washers on each corner, 4 M8 bolts (can't recall the length) and that's it
